Smoke Signals
Harriet the Spy
original April Fool's Day movie
Terms of Endearment
Evening Star
the 1990s comedy Rat Race movvie

Madam Secretary. Tea Leoni could benefit from a little more charisma. Still, interesting show

Person of Interest. If you like White Collar, you should enjoy this. Cerebral Drama by Jonathan Nolan (of "Batman Begins" fame). Action/Drama mostly.
The plot follows a rich guy and a former spec/ops who try to predict crime and stop it from happening.

Wheel of Time. High Fantasy/Drama based on the bestselling novels by the late Robert Jordan. With a budget of $80-100 million per episode season, this adaption has stunning visuals and costumes, and also does a fair job of respecting the source material*

The Rookie. Action/Drama with a dash of comedy/comic relief, follows Probationary Officers in the LAPD. Nathan Fillion delights anytime he's on screen

*As with any adaptation, significant changes are required to update the medium. Made all the more complicated that the books have over 2,000 individually named characters over 13 books, averaging ~900 pages each.
