What are you watching???

Was out of town for a week, so catching up. On the plane rides I watched:

A Quiet Place: Day One (Loved the first one, loved this one. Great casting choice of Lupita Nyong’o).

Godzilla Minus One (I am a long time, since childhood, huge Godzilla fan. This one was a perfect throwback to the original, Gojira, that started it all. Except this Godzilla was definitely pissed off).

The Burnt Half (Documentary of the 2020 bushfires on Kangaroo Island, Australia. Human oriented telling and surprising in places especially in how the fires started and the reaction to it).

need to catch up on my Tubi stuff. getting behind lol. every time I add a movie to watch, Tubi then brings back a previous movie or add another show

Dark Winds: Tseko Hasani Coal Mine Canyon
1923: A Dream and a Memory
MobLand: Jigsaw Puzzle
Last Week Tonight with John Oliver
Call the Midwife
Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue

Let's see, last night was:
1. the finale for 1923. ( * I'm not crying, it's just my allergies flaring up...* )
2. Also the second episode of MobLand. Stellar cast, but I'm just not getting into it. Maybe one more episode to see if I'm going to stick with it.
3. Made it about 2/3 the way of the last episode of season 3 of White Lotus. (had to go to bed, early AM start)

Still catching up…as soon as I got home, we started watching our shows again...

The PItt E12-14 (Yowza).

Dope Thief E4-5 (It just keeps getting deeper. Kate is just so unrecognizable. Shermie is just so darn cute).

Sherlock S2E4 (It feels like the shows in this season move too slowly. So we catch an episode once in a while because we just know that evil woman will eventually get her due).

Star Trek: Picard S2E1-2 (Picked up the rewatch of Star Trek: Picard with Season 2, after reading the intervening radio show/script book “No Man’s Land” which gives more perspective of Seven and Raffi going into S2 and makes the commitment joke Raffi cracks even funnier).
