What are you watching???

As of yesterday evening, I'm watching Jeopardy! again, despite the pissing contest between Disney and DirecTV. Thanks to a high definition tuner/downconverter: the antenna lead only goes to my bedroom (where it connects to my stereo receiver, so I can get decent reception on KUSC), and my personal TV is a standard-def CRT.

I'm honestly surprised that I can get a decent picture at all. We haven't had TV from a regular broadcast Yagi antenna since before standard def was decommissioned. And a tuner/downconverter is a lot cheaper than a new TV, which is rather important when you don't know what kind of reception you're going to get.

YouTube videos of baseball ejections.

Were any of the ejections, uh, premature?

Any cases of stadium organists being ejected for playing "Three Blind Mice"?

I have heard of organists being ejected, yes. One time it happened in my own home city!

It was the Mickey Mouse theme, in our case, but it's been known to happen.

Lambert Bartak

Hell, I've even heard of MASCOTS being ejected.

Last night was Thursday Night Football (TNF) via AmazonPrime. Buffalo Bills vs. Miami Dolphins. Good game, Bill's looked strong. Hope Tua is ok. (*Go Bills*)

Tonight will probably be the latest LoR episode (S2E5) over on Prime, then maybe another episode or 2 of Slow Horses.

watched Godzilla Minus One and George Carlin's On Campus earlier

This Saturday and Sunday Im watching these

-Shudder
the third episode of the new show documentary Horror's Greatest

Tubi
-George Carlin's 1986 comedy stand up special

Netflix
-The Silencing
-How It Ends

Just finished Burn Notice and Elementary. Wish Elementary had ended after 6, much better ending then 7, IMO.

My only two modern-returning shows are Tracker and The Irrational.

I am a weirdo, and let ancient tv shows run once-a-week and try to keep close to their original ratios (hiatuses, season breaks).

my fall schedule is: quantum leap (4), the profiler (1), tracker (2), TNG (4), buffy (4), NYPD blue (11), Angel (1) the Irrational (4), La Law (6), Moonlighting (4), X Files (2), Castle (8), Suits (3) and Homicide life On the Streets (1)

Almost done with Season 2 of For All Mankind. I'm not liking this show as much as I did on first watch. I'm still looking forward to finally seeing Season 4, but Silo, Severance, and even Ted Lasso are better.
