Just back from Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One. Enjoyed it/
Nancy Drew, Miracle Workers season 4 eps 1 & 2, more Clone Wars, and The Witcher season 3 ep 2.
New ep of What We Do In The Shadows today at lunch.
Better than average lawyer show. Likeable cast.
We’re going to have to agree to disagree. I think it hews closely to the style and content of Kelley’s work on early seasons of the Practice, before that show went off the rails. It's David E Kelly.
Ally Mcbeal, Picket Fences and the Practice.
Not only should it be better, but it's can't be worse.
Oppenheimer - not the latest Nolan movie, for which I'll have to wait as I can't get to a cinema, but the 1980 BBC drama series starring Sam Waterson.
Only caught one episode a few years ago - the one with the demon core aka "tickling the dragon's tail". It was good, but I didn't get chance to watch the rest. There's also the movie Fat Man and Little Boy aka Shadow Makers, made in 1989. The books "The Making of the Atomic Bomb" by Richard Rhodes and "American Prometheus" by Kai Bird and Martin J Sherwin have very different foci, of course. Both the TV series and movie named Oppenheimer perhaps follow the lead of the latter book in dealing more with how Oppenheimer came under scrutiny after WW2 because of his nemesis Lewis Strauss? I don't know if this is correct, not having seen the movieHave you tried the TV series Manhattan?
I've never been able to square that the CW Anakin is the same character lol (which I don't mind because I like that version a lot).Watched more Clone Wars last night. My hubby said, "At least this Anakin can act."![]()
