What are you watching???

^

Except that the shock ending was at the end of the movie, and the twist to this was midway through.

Now watching BBC's Doctor Who 'Nikola Tesla's Night of Terror' via HBO Max.

That's Rani.

Unforgivably, the monster, the lady in a wet rubber suit in this episode is Rani from the Sarah Jane Adventures.

It's unforgivable for two reasons.

1, Anjli Mohindra is now an adult and crippling attractive.

2, This could have been a(nother) call back, or a good bye Sarah Jane episode.

They actually brought in a character from The Sarah Jane Adventures? I hadn't heard about that.
I decided to add one more show to my mix, the final episodes of Vikings. They decided to post them on Amazon Prime before they air on History, so I watched the first one today.
It dawned on me as hit the end, that with Bjorn's death, there are no more characters left from the first season. And Bjorn hasn't been played by the original actor for a while now, since they did a time jump and he went from a kid to an adult a while back. I'm curious who the Katagat stories are going to focus on now that Bjorn and Lagertha are dead, Ubbe is heading out to look for The Golden Land, and Hvitserk and Ivar are in Rus. I guess it'll be Gunnhild, Ingrid, and Erik, since they seemed to be the focus of this one while Bjorn was dying.

No.

They bought in an actress from the Sarah Jane adventures, and then put her in a rubber monster suit, so you wouldn't recognize the actress or conflate some fantasy where she's really Rani in disguise.

Not Rani.

Just a talented woman getting paid for a job well done.

Watched BBC's Doctor Who 'Fugitive of the Judoon' via HBO Max.

Quite a lot going on in that one, huh?

Watching BBC's Doctor Who 'Praxeus' via HBO Max now.

Padmaavat. It is a movie based on a 16th century epic written by Malik Muhammad Jayasi. It is a story, set in the 13th century, about the fall of an Indian kingdom to Turko-Afghan invaders.

I'm now on the home stretch of my DS9 rewatch. I'm on Season 7 and just watched Inter Arma Enim Silent Leges.

I'm also watching Future Man on Hulu, which is absolutely hilarious and sends up time travel and gaming among other things.

Ang Lee's Gemini Man, the 60fps version. I can understand what he was going for with that high frame rate, but it's still not to my taste for a feature film. And I found the story and characters rather run-of-the-mill.
