What are you watching???

I'm watching the Old Guard. It's very different and yet something like all Charlize Theron action movies that I have somewhat seen.

Watched The Final Countdown. Great premise but nothing happened. Even the one thing that happened, we never find out anything about it. You would think something like this would at least generate a ton of thought and debate among the characters about what they should or should not do, but other than bringing it up, there's no real follow through. Also, they didn't need the Martin Sheen character.
Apparently the USN does not have a temporal prime directive.

You say that that ship could have won the entire war from that point?

What fricking war?

No pearl harbour, no American involvement.

So Europe continues on alone.

The future ship may have said "#### that" and signed up with Britain to kill Nazis, which would leave America open to a second attack.

Ahhh!

So many dominoes!

I keep meaning to check this show out. I've heard nothing but good things and I like the clips of the show I've seen. It's a little daunting to think about starting from the beginning, since there's so many episodes and so many seasons.

On a side note, apparently my girlfriend's daughter said I reminded her of either Sam or Dean (can't remember which one), because I was listening to Taylor Swift's Blank Space

Tackle the first 5 seasons of Supernatural; it makes a complete (and rather moving) story arc. Season 1 has a couple of duds--episode 8 is infamously bad, so much so that they make fun of it a few times in the later seasons. But if you make it through season 1, you'll want to keep going all the way through to last episode of season 5.

Finished Cursed over on Netflix. It was ‘OK’, noting memorable. Directing in the first few episodes was poor but improved in the last handful.
Looking for something else to watch.
Also watched the latest episode of Yellowstone. Was excellent.

I am watching the Puffins on Skomer Island, since I might never get to go there in person. :sigh:

Still watching The Dukes of Hazzard (on season 4). Also, finishing Childhood's End 2016 miniseries. Just watched the third and final episode. Both on DVD, of course.
