What are you watching???

I'm trying to get through some of the unwatched movies in my collection of DVDs & Blu-rays. Some recent ones I've polished off:
  • A View to a Kill
  • Tomorrow Never Dies
  • The World Is Not Enough
  • Judgment at Nuremberg
  • 2001: A Space Odyssey
  • Father Goose
  • That Touch of Mink
  • Operation Petticoat
(I've seen all of the above films before, just didn't get around to watching the discs after I'd purchased them. The Bond films were from the BR box set that was released in advance of Spectre; 2001 is the Blu-ray from the recent 4K remaster.)

Tonight I'm embarking on one that's completely new to me: Cloud Atlas.

Just finished getting caught up on Killing Eve, and watched the Season 3 first episode. Unless they come up with something really clever, it looks like they are running out of creative steam with this 'concept'. Season one, great. Season two, OK to good. Looks like diminishing returns....

Well the problem with Killing Eve is they hire a new show runner every year. I'm guessing the show will go for 5 seasons and each one will have a different person's vision for the series. The person who wrote the book / comic book is still around, but I do find the new show runner every season very odd.

The season premiere of In the Dark on The CW. Pretty sure I'm the only person who watches this show, but I think it's fun and funny, with some great characters.

Well, I've been on and off making my way through Money Heist over on Netflix. Spanish heist drama with a questionable english dub. Enjoyed the first two seasons, but season 3 and 4 went right down the tubes in terms of milking the premise and padding the story out to fill episode count. I became bored with it towards the end of season 4 and started fast forward viewing episode after episode just to see how it wrapped up. It didn't, it ended on a cliffhanger for a season 5, which was disappointing. If anyone is interested, season 1 & 2 tell a pretty good story with a decent 'conclusion'. Seasons 3 & 4 are padded out, more of the same with a "to be continued' end.

Did y'all know he's put his specials, unedited, almost commercial free, on YouTube? Along with episodes of his FOX television series?

Awesome.

Well, let's see... Finished off season 3 (final season) of Future Man over on Hulu. Such a weird, funny, 'different' show.... Watched a little of Season 1 of The Mandalorian over on Disney+ .... been watching a little of What We Do in the Shadows over on FX/Hulu. That one also falls in the 'different' category.

What We Do in the Shadows, Season 2. The vamps are invited to a neighborhood Superbowl Party and they mistakenly think it is a Superb Owl party. Guillermo meets a group of vampire hunters while hunting for virgins for his master.
