What are you watching???

It only goes down hill from there. Hell it goes down a fucking mountain, digs itself a hole, lights itself on fire... you get the point.

I'm almost stunned by how bad it is considering its reputation. There's a punk-ish hot girl love interest living in the same building as the handsome but unadventurous college student? I know they'll do some twists with that, but Jesus Christ is that bad and outdated writing.

Also, I get they wanted a badass lawyer, but this Annalise is so 'I'm a morally grey character who plays by my own rules' that the show is almost a spoof.

So far I'm just staying interested thanks to good pacing and lots of subplots, but not sure how long I'll continue.

I watched it the first few seasons because I like the gay Asian guy, he's cute. But they even wrecked his character. The show is so bad, it's almost good type of thing. That's why people like it. But yeah, don't put too much into the show because it's so bad. I've tried to get up to date but season 4 I think it was everyone acts so dumb, even for the show, that I can't.

The IT guy? He's great!

Just a real disappoint, especially since this is the same week I tried Suits, which just ... gah! I need a good legal drama show now I'm done with The Good Wife.

Yeah the IT guy is the best one... until he's not. Still nice too look at. :D The show even destroys him. It's so bad.

If you are looking for good legal comedy there is Boston Legal.

I was bored the other night and decided to check out Designated Survivor on Netflix. I'm usually not one to binge more than two episodes of a given show on a given night, but holy cow! I can't stop watching this! Two nights in a row I watched six episodes, bringing me to halfway through season one already!

The Spirit written & directed by Frank Miller via Hulu.

Less than ten minutes in, I'm already bored.

Been ages since I've seen that. I don't remember much of it though.

I thought the first season was ok, but haven't got past episode four of the second.

Tonight, for me, Supergirl and a bit of Game of Thrones.

^ Squeezing in a little Game of Thrones is never a bad thing....

For me, last night was catching up on Watchmen then was on to His Dark Materials via HBOGO. Wrapped up the night with the final two episodes of Season 3 of NuBSG over on AmazonPrime. It's remarkable how well that NuBSG has held up on subsequent viewings. I think I'm on my 3rd or 4th series rewatch in the last 10 or so years...

I've been watching the second season of the marvelous mrs. maisel.

It's a fun show, until you realize she has two small children. She isn't just an awful mother, it's he whole family is beyond terrible. Her family, and her ex husband for some reason, go on vacation to a camp for TWO MONTHS and leave the children in NYC with the maid.

However that is the terrible storylines / writing I have come to expect from the writer Amy Sherman-Palladino. She sets up awesome worlds and then wrecks them or just does really stupid things. (Looking at you Gilmore movies and season 6)

Crisis on Infinite Earths, of course.

After binge-watching the third season of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel in three days. :)

And, honestly, it doesn't bother me that she largely ignores her children. If I wanted to watch a show about a devoted mother spending lots of quality time with her children, I'd watch some heart-warming family drama. I want to see Mrs. Maisel cracking wise at comedy clubs, not playing Mom.

Then don't make her a mother. Problem solved. Or freaking bring the children along. They went on vacation for TWO MONTHS and didn't bother to bring the children up for a weekend even. It's just shortcut writing that I come to expect ASP.

Tried checking out Another Life on Netflix, but it's...kinda lame.

Those supposedly highly trained astronauts are basically a bunch of spoiled whiny childish jerks.
