What are you watching???

Eh it's universal and NBC was hitting it hard. It was corny but not a big deal. I do like the mega warped wall though. Nice addition to up the stakes.

I've been doing a Babylon 5 rewatch and just started season 4 last night.

I love American Ninja Warrior but one criticism I have is I think each step should be harder than the last, and last few seasons city finals are much harder than midoryama stage 1.

I was wondering if they were making the city finals too hard. I mean the elevator obstical at the end looked almost impossible, especially after already using all your upper body strength.

Binge watched another short lived series "Constantine". Yep, both times an angel was depicted they end up being evil. I've grown to know the signs of the bad guys in anything I watch. The cop, the teacher, the religious person, the lawyer, the kindly old fart will always be the 'shock' villain. Ho hum.

But it's a trope that pisses me off.

Movies or movie series where the supposed good guy Angels are evil dicks to humanity.. Like Gabriel in the Prophecy series 3 movies in that series.

I'd love to see a proper movie or series of movies where we had actual proper good guy Angels defending humanity but no that's not cool to do.

Mind you even christian movie makers don't or won't show this kind of thing for whatever reason.

There have been a few. It’s a Wonderful Life is one, Almost An Angel, Heaven Can Wait. City of Angels.

I’m not remotely religious, but I do like the monumental battles of good and evil, and armies of light, and ancient tomes of godly knowledge in Abrahamic lore.

Still trying to slog through the Season Four Remix of Arrested Development.

It's better, but not much. I was hopeful that S5 might be good, but I'm having a hard time getting through 4 first.

We finally finished season four last night. There is a lot of good, funny stuff there. But, it feels like something that should've only been 13 episodes instead of 22. The ending was weirdly abrupt.

I own "it's a wonderful life" and I've seen those others but I mean an epic battle type movie where you have Angels defending Earth on one side and Hell and its demons on the other. Oh and that you actually see them fight not just that it happens off screen.

I must admit I find Angels really magnificent. They are empowered and awesome. I would love to see them depicted as a force. Yet when you watch something like 'Touched by an Angel' there is a gentleness and graceful presence that makes all the might of fighting unnecessary.

Yeah but Touched By An Angel is made to be a feel good show. So there's that. And She was a hot Angel haha.

Blue Peter.

Not watching. Heating up convenience stodge for the evening meal, but it’s good that it’s still going after all these years.

No idea what I’m watching now, but it’s got Neil from the Young Ones jamming electric guitar with the Fonz.

Haha I could have been watching an old VHS but don't have a player. I found a 3 hour tape I made of Gumby episodes and Johnson & Friends

I just watched the 2015 documentary, Neanderthal Apocalypse. It basically presents the view that the Neanderthals went extinct due to a huge volcanic explosion in what is now Italy. The volcanic ash and resulting climate change caused areas populated by Neanderthals like in Europe and the Middle East to suffer sudden changes. That resulted in their eventual extinction. Homo Sapiens were more spread out into Asia, Oceania and Africa which were not as badly affected and Homo Sapiens had the numbers to survive the natural calamity.

In short. We did not kill of the Neanderthals. Mother Nature did.
