Doctor Who.
It can't be this crap if I wait all week for it.

I finished a first watch of Avatar: The Last Airbender yesterday. It took be a bit less than a month, mostly because I slowed down my viewing near the end because I didn't want it to end. It was glorious, one of the best shows (of either animation or live action) ever. Maybe not my #1 favorite, but really high up there. The story and characters were all amazing, and there were really only one or two weak episodes, and even then they generally had good stuff in them. I plan to start The Legend of Korra today, if its even 1/10th as good as Avatar it will be a good watch.

Prepare to not be disappointed.

Honestly, I should have been prepared for soul crushing disappointmentI just watched the first two episodes of The Legend of Korra. I won't go into too much detail (this really isn't the thread for it) but basically the setting is horrible (a 1920s New York style city makes no damn sense with how the world was in Avatar, even if they have skipped about 70 years) and the characters aren't compelling at all (much less the idiotic sport subplot). I'll keep watching, but mostly just to hope we see Aang in spirit form or flashback. I can't believe that anyone who worked on Avatar had anything to do with this, its just such a huge downgrade in quality.
Wesley and Fred finally have a happily ever after.![]()
Sorry it wasn't for you.
I really liked the Korra episodes that I saw. The evolution of the Avatar world felt authentic and Korra's Scooby gang really grew on me, especially going into the second "book."
I can see your point on the bending sport portions. It wasn't for everyone, certainly, and probably too much of the first season was devoted to it, but I still found the sports stuff interesting enough.
Last night's Good Wife.
"Damn your Old Spice all to hell!"
I love Elsbeth. Florrick/Agos, just hire her already!
