What are you watching???

"Abbott & Costello Meet Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde"--featuring Boris Karloff.

Clearly, I have my finger on the pulse of modern pulp culture.

"The Invisible Woman." No, not the recent period piece about Charles Dickens's mistress, but an old sci-fi comedy from 1940 . . ..

The Dickens thing sounds familiar, but I was thinking you meant the 1983 Invisible Woman movie where the Invisible Woman wore so much make up, probably no more than she usually painted on an inch thick, that no one knew that she was invisible.

:)

I'm watching "That Girl!"

According to Wikipedia, the 1982 movie was a remake of the 1940 movie . . .

Never seen the remake--and didn't even know that it existed!

Childhood memory.

In the 80s I didn't know that %80 of 80s movies were all awful.

If I had, then I might have played sport less ironically.

...

Pretty Little Liars.

Three movies lined up for this evening:
*"Ride Along"
*"Justice League: War"
*"The Pianist" (tentative)

Royal Pains

It's weird because the new attractive recurring guest starlet who is suppose to make me feel tingly inside, I used to know as maybe a 12 yea old on an Australian family science fiction adventure series.

The Night They Raided Minsky's (1968): an odd, lavish, drama-comedy-musical set at a burlesque house in the Roaring Twenties--and a featuring Britt Ekland as an Amish girl (???) who has run away from home to dance on the stage--and ends up accidentally "inventing" the striptease.

Now, let it be noted that I live in rural Pennsylvania and Britt Ekland, even before her transformation into a showgirl, looks and sounds like no Amish girl I have ever encountered!

I liked the little girl swearing.

Otherwise, quite the yawn.

Greys Anatomy reruns.

23 days till season 11 begins and we get to deal with the new sister.

(Years ago, I remember the kids squeeing about how there was a third Winchester Brother... I finally get it.)

Wait?

What does happen if I put myself on my own ignore list?
