What are you watching???

Adverts with Yank actors in them

If it isn't Schwarzenegger doing Compare the market, it's Clooney doing Nespresso or Stallone doing Warburtons bread . The most annoying one though is Kevin Bacon doing the EE mobile network. Don't these people have enough money?

I seem to remember that Kevin Bacon (and Kyra Sedgwick) lost a lot of money in a stock market scam . ...

Humans - ep2

It's all a bit prosaic and ultimately unoriginal but the sinister creepy atmosphere that runs through it is right up my street so it does appeal. The daughter is fast becoming the most punchable human being in the history of TV though.

Island Hunter on HGtv. It's House Hunters but instead of looking for a house, they are looking at buying an island. This episode has Jolene Blalock as the friend helping out world renown interior designer Erika Brunson.

Ya seen one island, ya seen 'em all!

Google "Palm Jumeirah , Dubai" and "The World, Dubai" for related subject matter.

All it takes is Money!

They are even building a "Milky Way".

Ah, the Humanity...

I just finished marathon-ing Season 1 of "The Last Ship" (which was excellent, btw).

I also just got to see the Season 2 premiere of "Star Wars: Rebels" (which was also excellent).

For those who remember Robot Wars from the late 1990s and early 2000s, the tournament is once again back on television in the form of Battlebots.

JS&MN

It's slick, well written, has high production values and interesting characters but I'm slightly losing interest to be honest. Every episode feels identical. Creepy, hammy Mark Warren, mad women, the raven king. GET. ON. WITH. IT! And I do wish people would stop saying "English" magic.

Sharknado

Easily the best movie by The Asylum. Its a fun B-Movie which keeps the goofy action going for most of its running time.

Believe it or not, it is on here in the UAE!

Shark Tales

Wonder which of us was watching the better movie?
