What are you watching???

Somehow, we ended up watching 3 episodes of something called Hit Monkey last night. It's animated, very strange, and very gory. I wasn't as taken by it as my hubby, but there were some nice character bits between the killings and George Takei is voicing a character.

Fresh off binging The Good Place, Parks & Rec and New Girl, the latest sitcom I missed when they came out that I'm binging now is the One Day at a Time reboot. All while continuing to pick away at Helstrom, Sweet Tooth, Jupiter's Legacy, MODOK, Black Lightning season 4, Locke & Keye season 2, Solar Opposites season 2, Clone Wars season 4 and Big Hero 6 season 2. I also recently watched the last two episodes of Stargirl season 2, the Marvel Legends for Hawkeye and the Marvel Assembled for Shang-Chi. Meanwhile on traditional TV I'm watching Prodigy, Lower Decks, 55 Years of Star Trek, Doctor Who, Simpsons, Family Guy, American Dad, Bob's Burgers, Great North, Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, Batwoman, Young Sheldon, United States of Al, The Goldbergs, Magnum PI, Real Time...hoping to catch up on Jeopardy, Have I Got News for You, Daily Show, Amber Ruffin, Vice, Last Week Tonight, Full Frontal, the Walking Dead shows, Nova and Nature at some point...waiting for the XL episodes of QI...I may watch too much TV.

More Hit Monkey - it's growing on me - and catching up on Batwoman, Legends of Tomorrow, and Nancy Drew.

Just gotta say, Nancy Drew has really found it's groove this season. It's reminding me of the better seasons of Buffy.

The new rendition of Gossip Girl.

In the first edition, it was "Who is Gossip Girl", a mystery that took 6 years to solve, and just re-watching even the pilot, the final proof on who is Gossip Girl is deeply flawed.

This time around we find out who Gossip Girl is from it's elicit genesis: It's the teachers. They hate their sexy billionaire asshole students, deciding that cyber-bullying their wards is a fricking cathartic hoot.

We finished Only Murders in the Building on Wednesday night. We watched the first 2 episodes of Hawkeye and Shang-Chi (re-watch for us) with my parents last night, which were enjoyed by all.

My hubby asked me to post a question: has anyone here seen Hanna (the TV show) on Amazon Prime? If so, what did you think of it? Is it just another Teen Girl Spy/Assassin show or is there something worth watching there?
