What are you watching???

The Colbert Report. Michael Fassbender is singing in a papier mâché head whil Maggie Gyllenhall plays keyboards.

I think after episode 4 Extant has lost me.

It might have worked as a two hour movie. There's just not enough steam in the premise to make it seem like it's going anywhere. Does anyone know if it's planned to only last one season? That's the only thing that would make me consider continuing to watch it.

I just saw "The Fabulous Baker Boys" for the first time yesterday. Amazing film with an amazing soundtrack.

Another 2nd season Supernatural on DVD tonight! :)

Our week's evening DVD viewing is thus at the moment:
Mon: Eureka (final season)
Tues: Orphan Black
Wed: Defiance
Thu: (Mythbusters on TV)
Fri: Supernatural
Sat: Movie night!
Sun: Random TV series on DVD choice. The Invaders, Nash Bridges, whatever.

The hilarious thing about that movie is how tired and sad and given up Beau Bridges seems, because he's just too damn old.

:)

Beau works a hell of lot harder to earn my love than his brother.

^ "The stuff that dreams are made of."

Love that movie.

Tonight, just watched local news and channel-surfed.

Well, it works for the character....;)

Yeah, he's tired and older (and seems to catch the ladies, but doesn't want to commit) but he's been doing the same act for so many years. Not only in the band, but in life. It's not only his brother that he doesn't want to disappoint, but for fear of doing something that might actually make him happy in life.

*sigh*

Now, I want to buy the movie on blu-ray, but it's currently only available on DVD.

CTRL.

A webseries starring Tony Hale where he lucks onto a magic keyboard that can control time and space with it's function buttons, which he uses to trick Emy Coligado into falling in love with him.

It's awesome. :)
