What are you watching???

Deal or No Deal

Just pick a box and get on with it, ya damn hippies!

I used to watch the Italian version on Rai 1, Affari Tuoi.

Funny thing with the coccodrillo song.....

I understood next to nothing....

Currently watching Under the Dome

Marley's Ghosts

Despite having proper actors like John Hannah and Sarah Alexander, this just wasn't very good.

You, Me and the Apocalypse

Sweary priest, Rob Lowe plus the very likeable Mathew Bayton. Both good selling points. Will probably stick with it. Some funny.

"Q Who," Star Trek: The Next Generation Season Two

When this first aired, I thought it was easily the best episode of TNG to date. I still feel this way. It's a sharp contrast to any episode before it. The characters actually appear to be in real jeopardy. They encounter a TOS style giant ship which is a cube/geometric shape. It's life, Jean Luc, but not as we know it. The bad guys are bad, not misunderstood, and relentless. The conclusion is still very TNG what with Q whisking the crew out of danger rather than defeating the Borg, but that fits well with the Borg being the one enemy the crew of the D can't over power or out reason. Don't think TNG ever felt this exciting before or frankly ever since.

That was the episode that sold me on TNG. Up until that time, it seemed that Jean Luc was all too eager to surrender his ship when the slightest hint of danger reared its ugly head.

Then this episode came along, and Jean Luc realized: "Hey, my ship has these things called phasers and photon torpedoes! Let's use 'em!"

I was riveted by this episode. :)

Gravy

Horror comedy about Serial killer cannibals trying to eat a restaurant staff after hours.

They force the the staff to play parlour games to see who gets eaten last.

Lily Cole has grown up considerably since the last time I thought "EWWW! Too young! Throw it back!".

Bake Off

Not as good as last year but always watchable. I've been inspired to attempt peanut brittle (sugar and peanuts....piece of piss).
