What are you reading?

Hah! Well, you've heard of train nuts? I'm a transportation nut, in general. I read memoirs from truckers and cabbies, or nonfiction pieces about shipping and trucking or metro rail networks, or bicycles. A lot of men in my family drive trucks, so that may account for it.
LOL..I work in trucking, have done so for more than 2 decades....I have stories to tell and I didn't even drive the trucks LOL..

The Windup Girl by Paulo Bacigalupi.

Fascinating world building, strong writing, but most of the characters are pretty vile. If not for the titled character it would be a very hard slog, regardless of the fascinating landscape they are all playing in.

Hugo - Farang

I'm still reading Lord of the Rings on my Kindle lol I'm actually almost done with Return of the King. 7 more chapters in book 2 of Return of the King.

"The Earth Is Weeping: The Epic Story Of The Indian Wars For The American West" by Peter Cozzens

Very informative book, and pretty poignant given everything that's going on with DAPL, Standing Rock, and the Native Nations March earlier this week.

The Last Wish by Andrzej Sapkowski , which has been a boatload of fun so far and is a collection of short stories featuring Geralt Of Rivia, providing much of the basis for the Witcher video game series.

Romeo and Juliet, Shakespeare
Sonnets, Shakespeare

(I always hear about Shakespeare but I've never ever had the chance to read any of his books)
