Driving with the Devil: Southern Moonshine, Detroit Wheels, and the Birth of NASCAR.
I've just finished Crime and Punishment after a long spiel of The Wheel of Time (Robert Jordan) and the Stormlight Archive (Brandon Sanderson). Thoroughly enjoyed the tension Dostoevsky was able to maintain throughout the text.
I'm about to pick up a copy of Contact (Sagan), hoping it's as good/inspiring as I've heard.

It's been awhile since I've read the series. I'll have to do a re-read some of these days.
I'm reading Needful Things by Stephen King.
Finished Rick Riordan's Kane Chronicles trilogy.
Finished Ultima yesterday. A fine sequel to Stephen Baxter's Proxima, and it seems that he's learnt one or two things from Terry Pratchett by osmosis. As it happens, Long Earth Book 5 (The Long Cosmos) is due out on 30th June and credited to both of them.
I finished Needful Things this morning. I don't know what I'm going to read next.
I'm having a little trouble trying to remember who the hell everyone is at the moment!
Finished Reading An Invisible Thread by Laura Schroff. Enjoyed it quite a lot. Inspiring true story of an 11 year old panhandler and a business executive's meeting that changed their lives forever. Highly recommended for anyone who loves a feel-good story.
Right now, reading The Raids, by local author Mick Lowe. Historical fiction set in my hometown about mines and their unions set against the backdrop of the cold war.

I have just finished listening to Dr Who: Time Lord Fairy Tales, fairy tales adapted to the Who Universe (Three Little Sontarans, the Scruffy Piper etc) . Various narrators.
I have started listening to I Had to Survive: How a Plane Crash in the Andes Inspired My Calling to Save Lives by Dr Roberto Canessa and Paul Vierci. Various narrators. It is the 4th book I have read about the Andes Survivors and the second book written by one of the survivors.
