What are you doing at this moment?

My housemate is in the same position. He's craving foods he normally despises. I told him that it's probably his body telling him there are nutrients that he doesn't generally get that it wants.
It’s weird. I’ve been craving eggs, the weirder the better. Blue shells, double yolk, duck. Tinned tentacle things. Sweet corn ew. Ox liver, lambs heart, black pudding. I spent the past forty years turning my nose up at everything.

I can’t get the scene from Back to the Future 3 out of my head. The one where Marty is eating a charred rabbit leg at the McFly farm and spitting out the shot pellets. I fancy that. What’s wrong with me?! If I weren’t male I’d swear I was pregnant.

Go without certain nutrients for long enough and your body will demand that you feed them to it.

I'm just waiting for that point with my body. Goodness knows I haven't treated it well in my 45 years.

Having an horrendous morning. Don’t feel well, woke up with one of the kids in the bed because they were ill in the night. I’ve just had to wash the other one down and run them a bath because they shat the bed and now I need to deal with the bedding. The wife is buckled in bed too feeling like she’s gonna throw up.

Hope this is the low point of the day.

Calling in sick. Woke up feeling a bit off, ate breakfast (2 mini chicken patties on biscuits) and immediately regretted it. Feel like I’m gonna hurl and getting achey as I sit here.

@Butters and @Doom Shepherd, Ugh. I'm sorry.

Feeling ill is horrendous. Cleaning up others' sick and excrement is on par with feeling ill, yourself. Just one more reason I decided not to have children.

I hope both your days get better! And @Butters, I hope you're able to take that walk you were hoping to. If not today, maybe tomorrow?

I’m in the zone. Too tired/weak to get up and do things, too awake to sleep. Fortunately the iPad takes little energy to use.

Also, chills now. Thermostat is at 75F and I’m under a heated blanket and shivering.

Ooh. I hate that! No matter how high you set the thermostat you cannot feel warm in the slightest. Happened to me recently but a few hours later I was feeling right as rain, as they say. I hope you're able to recover quickly.

Thanks. You get used to cleaning up kids, but you get unused to it too. I have haven’t changed a nappy or emptied a litter tray for three years or so. I still face what awaits up there on the bed.

:(

Pondering the consequences of taking my PC off of my wall again. On one hand, I have a few more cables to replace for better appearances, on the other, that damned thing is heavy!

After yarfing and then sleeping until 3 PM, I feel weak but better. In fact, I am now quite hungry, but afraid to eat because of what happened last time.
