What are these called where you live?

I would call it a splade though technically a splade is slightly different.

I would also call that a "spork," though my understanding has always been that the word was actually trademarked by a particular company, so I don't know what the generic term would be for that kind of item.

I once told my wife, "We're out of sporks. Would a foon do okay?" She wasn't amused.
 
Didn't some of them have an edge on one of the tines so you could use it like a knife, not a very sharp one, but enough?
 
Yes, at least they did in Australia. The term splade comes from spoon and blade.

It seems that the company that first made them back in the 1940s was called Splayd and they are still around today.

Splade became the generic name for the product.
