Tiger Balm! I never imagined I would see an online ad for such an old-fashioned product. I have a couple jars at home, but I hardly ever use the stuff because it stinks to high heaven.

Also ads for Hawaiian coffee, distance learning, and adoption services for pregnant young ladies.

In the 70s, our 'big three' go-to products around the house were Absorbine horse liniment (never mind the 'Junior' which was inferior), Unguentine, and Thuja Ointment. That last was petroleum jelly-based red salve with oil of thuja....not the same as the wart cream of today....and it always took very good care of my scuffs and scrapes.

These are identical to the containers that we had. Curiously, I can not find an image of a vintage jar of Thuja Ointment anywhere on the internet, including ebay....it's as if it has completely disappeared.
