What are some good stories featuring Ace?

Entering the Avatar competition here and using Ace as my entry, it struck me that I'm particularly fond of her, and yet I've only seen her in one serial: 'The Curse of Fenric.' Which I thought was pretty good. So I'm interested in getting another story with Ace, and well, any chance to see more McCoy is a good thing!

Any recommendations?

I'd start with Dragonfire and go all the way through. I like all of the McCoy/Ace Serials. Delta and the Bannerman, is really the only McCoy serial, I'd advise against, even if you have to endure Mel (Though she's great in the Audio Adventures) in the Non-Ace Serials. Even the other maligned Serials of the mcCoy Era generally have, at least a Political statement to make through their plot. I like all of Mel's Serials with McCoy except for DatB, but, the Ace Serials are all "Ace", IMHO

McCoy/Ace has a definite Arc to it, some parts of the Arc are never brought to Fruition, due to the incompletion of The Cartmel Master Plan, but, the Character Arc of Ace while Traveling with McCoy is very cool Dr. Who, IMHO.

Thanks! I added 'Dragonfire' and 'Remembrance of the Daleks' to my wishlist on Amazon. I got 'The Five Doctors' on it's way, so I'll look into those serials after I get through this one.

Remebrance of the Daleks MUST be seen for Ace's Crowning Moment of Awesome - taking a baseball bat to a Dalek.

Battlefield's good too.

Of the non-released serials (at least over here in North America) I would say you should try Dragonfire and The Greatest Show in the Galaxy when they become available.

Not released? According to Amazon Dragonfire is available. Which is why it's added to my wishlist :)

According to my source (amazon.com) Dragonfire will be released on DVD May 12, alongside The Happiness Patrol DVD. I checked especially for you and to satisfy my own curiosity.

Probably unecessary at this point, but another vote for Remebrance. Hell, its the best Seven story period as far as I'm concerned.

D'oh! You are correct sir. My apologies :)

Honestly, Ace deserves a happy ending after all the crap Seven put her through during that final season.

And didn't the books turn her into a space marine or something? Ick.

Curse of Fenric is actually the only Seven story I have seen so far. Of course I've seen his cameo in the movie, but I'm eager for more Seven. As well as more Ace!

There you go! And speaking of Ace, have you seen the new issue of Doctor Who Magazine? Ace is featured on the cover and an exclusive interview is inside!

I'm going to the mall tomorrow to meet some friends for a movie. I'll hop over to the bookstore and scope it out. Thanks for the heads up :)
