What are some good space & ocean-based TV shows?

Is Seaquest any good? I have read very conflicting opinions.
It's on Peacock (subscription) and Xumo Play (free). Basically, it's TNG under water. I saw the first 8 episodes before it left Roku, and it was pretty good. If you have Peacock or can put Xumo Play on your TV, give it a go.

I personally find it to be very good with Season 1. Season 2 is a highly mixed bag, as it brings in a lot more science fiction concepts, but it is still mostly good.

Season 3 is a soft reboot and is far more military focused.

I enjoyed the first season of Seaquest. Then I moved away and didn't buy a television for a couple of years. By that time the show had run its course.

I've heard of this one. It's good?
I think Robotech is awesome. Others may prefer the original Japanese series.

I'm amazed how they wove 3 unrelated series into 1 saga that works well together.

Macross, the first portion, has 2 of my favorite characters in all science fiction. They were the first antagonists since Hector from "The Iliad" that I could say I liked as favorites.

I guess I will have to add this to my "stuff to watch" list. I used to have a friend who had this massive DVD box that had like every episode, every movie, every special feature, everything. Now there's some remastered Blu-ray sets, lacking on Special Features, but supposed to look and sound much better.

Which release would you recommend if I add to my Amazon wishlist?

Where in the Bible is nudity prohibited? I'm sure there's some passage in there--just curious.

Typically the Biblical prohibitions against nudity are actually prohibitions against sexual immorality such as incest or sex outside of marriage.

It is weird that they were created, then told not to access knowledge, when that thing is something that seems to define humans.

Almost like we were set up to fail.

This is a common but incorrect conclusion. The forbidden tree was the tree of knowledge of good and bad. Morals. The right to choose for oneself what is right and wrong, what is moral or immoral. One of the basic Bible messages is God should be the one to decide what is moral and immoral.

As to knowledge in general, the Bible says knowledge is important. We should never stop learning. Knowledge and thinking ability should be safegarded.

And then they got kicked out because Eve wouldn't let some powerful white guy dictate her life for her.

Did I get that right?

No. That's very much incorrect. They got kicked out because they disobeyed God. They decided they did not need God and did not want to live by his rules. They wanted to be their own god.

It wasn't just Eve that was kicked out. Adam was kicked out too. In fact, tge Bible does not blame Eve at all for what happened. All the blame is placed on Adam. It was his fault.

What other knowledge did they have access to?

What other knowledge did they have access to?

The sky was the limit. God gave us knowledge and thinking ability. Over time we learned and grew. As we developed tools our knowledge to the point we are today.

No, God did not tell Adam and Eve all there was to know. He gave them the gift of discovery. He gave them curiosity and the desire to learn.

He gave them the command to fill the Earth and subdue it. Inherent in that command is the opportunity to learn, grow and develop. How else could humans subdue the Earth without using tools?

Depends on the kind of TV show you like. I loved it. The first season was excellent across-the-board. Second season started off fairly strong, but then pretty quickly spiraled out of control into some pretty immature science fiction. Season three was, as said a few post back, a soft reboot. But it was excellent. If the show were permanently canceled at the end of the second season, I wouldn't have cared at the time. It came back for the third season and was canceled partway through and I was devastated because it was really very good.
