What are currently any fave, made up big words, not in the dictionary ?

KL700

Lieutenant
As most forum readers are active book readers, what are currently any of your witty favorite,
made up fairly big words, that aren't currently in the dictionary and please state what each mean ?

Wonderlust. The feeling that good SF generates inside you.

(I thought of it, and so did a few other people - spontaneous creation. Maybe a word whose time has come. :) )

Herpegonosyphilitis. What you get from a lady of the night.

Any place name in Wales, the language of which appears to suffer from a lack of vowels, such that all the signs look like this:

LLLWCNLCNLWNCLNWLRNLRNWLRNLCLWNRLN - 40 KM

Luposlipaphobia - The fear of being chased around the diningroom table by timber wolves on a newly waxed floor while wearing socks.

Anatidaephobia - The fear that somewhere, somehow, a duck is watching you.

Fucknuckle and Knobshine.

Ironically two nicknames for Berman and Braga towards the end of Enterprise's run.

Re: What are currently any fave, made up big words, not in the dictionar

I know I shouldn't be but I'm surprised that I actually know some of these :rommie:

Any place name in Wales, the language of which appears to suffer from a lack of vowels, such that all the signs look like this:

LLLWCNLCNLWNCLNWLRNLRNWLRNLCLWNRLN - 40 KM
And sometimes what's up there on the sign translates into things like: The translation service is down for maintenance, please try again later. :p

From the SciFi I keep coming back to (that isn't Trek) I have these:

CREWS - Coherent Radiation Emission Weapons Systems (kinda like a Phaser).

Hypergridintrusion - also a weapon.

Outside Context Problem - "It's the kind of problem most civilizations would encounter just once, and which they tended to encounter rather in the same way a sentence encountered a full stop."
Might as well post the description, as I know it, here:

The usual example given to illustrate an Outside Context Problem was imagining you were a tribe on a largish, fertile island; you'd tamed the land, invented the wheel or writing or whatever, the neighbors were cooperative or enslaved but at any rate peaceful and you were busy raising temples to yourself with all the excess productive capacity you had, you were in a position of near-absolute power and control which your hallowed ancestors could hardly have dreamed of and the whole situation was just running along nicely like a canoe on wet grass... when suddenly this bristling lump of iron appears sailless and trailing steam in the bay and these guys carrying long funny-looking sticks come ashore and announce you've just been discovered, you're all subjects of the Emperor now, he's keen on presents called tax and these bright-eyed holy men would like a word with your priests.

Terry Pratchett came up with a goodie:
"Having early onset Alzheimer's is a complete embuggerance."
