Ouch! messy
I ask myself that question every time I open Dosbox, why has nobody ported or redone some of these games? certainly more entertaining then 80 percent of the games in the app stores. Why can't they port the DOS games to iOS? That's what I want to know! Make special 'enhanced' editions, the voice alone is worth doing it for. I'd love to play a Final Unity or Klingon Academy on my iPhone!

(I was going to mention it, but since I had just played "crotchety old man" about graphics in general, I decided not to, since it actually had some - primitive - graphics. No love for "The Rebel Universe"?)
I would love it if I could find the source code for a version of the venerable quadrant-and-sector BASIC Star Trek game, which I played on a Leading Edge Model D back in the late 80s, that spit out quotes by Marcus Aurelius. And you could abandon the Enterprise and command the Faerie Queene. I have looked high and wide for this program, and apparently it doesn't exist on the Internet.![]()
I don't think Final Unity is all that great a game, personally. It certainly doesn't compare to 25th Anniversary or Judgement Rites.
I'm surprised we haven't seen some of the more recent Trek titles hit GOG. Stuff like Armada, Elite Force, and Birth of the Federation should be relatively straightforward releases I would think.

It depends though on who holds the rights to those games.. I'd imagine some legal issues.
The Hazard Team was such a cool idea. They should have put that into the actual TV show.
