However, his attitude towards the fans is rather plain and it must be said.

He would NOT be likely inclined to just "have a beer" with us, even the ones who aren't plying him with trivia questions he has no answers to.

Is mercenary better? Not sure, as that does imply a known and up front "business" relationship. And though the Shat's biz skillz are unquestioned, he's not above playing the feelings and loyalties of fans for his own benefit.

Again, I REALLY don't think the Shat would have much to do with us if we didn't represent a considerable financial interest.
