Wesley Crusher being annoying on Season 1 notwithstanding, that must sting seeing Wesley Crusher losing all admiration towards Starfleet when he started seeing the plight of the Maquis; settlers being forced to abandon their homes "cebause" it was territory handed back over to the Cardassians. I never hated either of them, but seeing them again now, I can see why others consider their constant piping annoying. Yes, they are a little naive and annoying, but their characters are suppose to represent and entertain kids (especially since it is Star Wars.)
