^ Fair enough. Rose really only belongs with Doc-9, doesn't she? That's why I wish Eccles could have been around to play the cloned Doc, since the personality was his anyway. Would have made a better Rose finale with her staying with a version of the Doctor she fell in love with. Not to mention, there wouldn't have been any of that "longing stare" as the TARDIS departed. They never should have tried to force a Rose/Doc-10 romance. It just lacked the chemistry and really soured the whole relationship in my eyes...

Wow, The, I feel like I wrote that whole post myself! I think there are moments, actually, when 10 and Rose really do have a thing going, but by and large I can feel the heat with her and 9, not 10. There are times when Rose/10 really irritates me, in fact.

Rose/10 have that giggly teenager thing going on. Rose/9 kind seem to be building up a more mature relationship than that, that's why I think R/10 can be so annoying.

The 9/Rose vibe I always got was this: Older man in love with a much younger girl and makes the choice not to do anything about it. There was a much more platonic feeling to their relationship (albeit with something of an edge) 10/Rose on the other hand...got two 16 years olds so much in lurvre...
