I'm still diggin Lost. I almost thought we'd be without Sayid for a few eps (which would've been a shame), but I'm psyched to see what he finds on the island. I was about to write out a big spiel, but I forgot Big Foot is playing catch up. Between Sayid & Locke, those are my fav characters so far.

Well me and my g/f watched the last ep of Lost the other day, so bring on the spoilers. :D As long as they're not for future eps, lol. :D I actually really loved the last ep, I thought it was great. Before it, Locke was my fav character. Now that honour goes to Sayid. That guy is just majorly cool. :D

Looks like I'm all about ABC this season (wow, and I didn't watch anything on that channel but sports before :p). I'm into Boston Legal too. Maybe it's just cause of the wise-cracking antics of Spader's role or the overall antics of Shatner's role. But that show is a blast! I think it's really cool that Shatner plays a guy with a great reputation. Of course viewers can see him as this man with a legacy because he is Kirk. He doesn't play "Old Kirk" in this role, but as a man with a legacy, it fits. And it's funny how he uses it  Rene Auberjonois has just joined as a regular, which is about time! He's been in almost every ep anyway. He's good as a sane partner to balance Shatner's part, so I see him as being valuable.

Yeah I love Boston Legal. :D Both Spader and Shattner are awesome on the show, and it's also really great to see Rene back on the tube again. And well, I've had a thing for Rhona Mitra for ages, so the fact that she's a regular doesn't hurt either. :D

Chronicles of Riddick - yep, I'll get it. Maybe not immediately, but I'd like to see what they included in the Director's Cut. Plus, I was one who was into Pitch Black since the theatrical release, so I was more than ready to see the further adventures of Riddick. I hope they get the chance to do the full trilogy.

Yeah it would be awesome if they could make more movies set in the CoR universe, even if they're not big budget blockbusters. I'd be perfectly happy to watch something that only costed $10 mil to make. Besides, CoR didn't do that bad at the box office. There's also the international take which is supposedly quite decent and the DVD sales which I bet are gonna be pretty good. So it is possible for Universal to give a go to a small budget ($50 mil) sequel.

^I was reading an article where Vin Diesel said Pitch Black only took $20 mil to make, and he'd be glad to go back to that budget to get it done. I guess that means his take will come mostly from ticket sales  Anyway, I'd also love to see them get back to the heart of what made Pitch Black so raw and memorable.

Then again, The Matrix sequels left something to be desired to, eh? :( Maybe he should do quick back-to-backers like LOTR. But theirs was built from a well-developed story anyway. Eh, whadaya gonna do!

Hey, what's goin on around here!? Since I'm no longer on the clock, guess I'll just hang out (pours myself a raktijino).

LOST - last Wednesday SPOILERS below.

Any B5ers watch last Wed's Lost? Was that French woman the same woman who hooked up with Sheridan and grew hair toward the end of the series? Man, she's let herself go! Kidding, she was great in that character, playing the crazy but probably more knowledgeable than she let on character. I'm sure she'll be back sometime, Spoiler:
especially since Sayid knows she has electricity.

^ That would be Mira Furlan, AKA Delenn. ;)

She rocked on B5 - hopefully she will add something to Lost as well!

^ Yeah, this week's ep of Lost was great. It was cool seeing Mira back on the telly again.

In case anyone cares and doesn't know about this, they're re-releasing Farscape on DVD. There are gonna be three sets per seasons (7 or 8 eps per set) with new extras (a ton of commentaries). And the best news is, that the sets are gonna be cheaper. You can find a set online (at actual stores, I'm not talking about eBay) for about $15 which is pretty darn good. The first set which contains eps up to PK Tech Girl has already been released, the second one is coming out on January 18th, just like the Peacekeeper Wars. :)

Well I had an expensive (but fun :D) day. I just bought Buffy S7, Angel S4 and Stargate SG-1 S7. :D So I should be busy for a little while, lol. I have to say that I really like the Buffy S7 cover, except that Sarah looks way too airbrushed.

*** drops in for a moment ***

I've been meaning to mention and only just got around to it - I did manage to watch the other two LotR movies. I have to say that despite my viewings constantly being interrupted by that pesky damned RL thing, I was impressed. Further viewings are clearly called for. :D

*** no comment whatsoever on the Orlando cove ***

*** drops out again ***

I'm getting pretty anxious to see the extended version of Return of the King myself. Return of the King is my least favorite of the three films, I'm hoping the new DVD can change that.

All I can say is that if they extended that last scene, I am going to be really mad... damn thing was emotional and long enough as is. :p

(that and I really had to go to the bathroom by that point :o)

I suggest watching them at least 10 times :D
And I should listen to you...why, exactly? :p

And I'd like to think the ending of RotK will be trimmed, if anything. Talk about your dragged-out endings....

Yeah, me too! I haven't been able to sit through this one or Matrix Reloaded without having to hit the head. Anyway ;)

Back to Lost, it took me a moment to recognize Delann as the French woman. Like I said, she'd let herself go  I wonder if Sayid will now return to the group with his newfound knowledge or is he going to do some more searching? Anyone notice that Spoiler:
Sayid heard those whisperings that the French woman mentioned? Wonder if it has anything to do with that stuff she shot in his veins??

Yeah...what this movie needed was 45 *MORE* minutes! :p

ACK!!!

Anyway...I had a wonderful weekend, folks. Coaster and I drove down to the Orlando Trek con (from Atlanta) and although it was a really long trip, it was alot of fun.

I got to see my childhood hero (Leonard Nimoy) speak AND best of all, I got to meet, talk to, and get an autograph from Peter Jurasik!!!!

As many of you guys in this thread know, Londo Mollari is my all-time favorite SFF character...and so it was really cool to meet him. I got to the autograph table before it opened and so I got extra long to talk to him as he was setting up the table - most cool!!!!

Anyway...he was really nice, funny as all get-out, and I could tell he really loves the fans. I stood there like a fangirl and gushed about how wonderful Londo was and how he is my favorite SFF character ever, and I think he liked that! He even did some Londo lines, which was most cool!!!

I was WAY excited, as coaster will attest. :p

I also got to meet several members of the BBS who I'd not previously met IRL - T'Bonz, FrontLine, AdmBonz, enlisted person....

All in all, a good time...worth the 16 hours + we spent in the car!
