^ Heh. I'm embarassed at how high my postcount is. :o

I registered a month before BigFoot, and I have over 16,000, I know, cus I made Admiral last month. :p

But then....Enterpriser registered a month before me...so I guess if you look at it in that light, I hardly have any!

I'm torn about the Farscape Mini. I want to see it NOW so I can join in all the discussion (my parents taped it for me last night - I don't have cable). But I also am going to be getting the DVDs in the mail today or tomorrow *crosses fingers*, and I'd REALLY like to go on a big marathon and watch it all and THEN watch the mini.

Oh, and I'll be at church October 31st. Whenever there's a 5th Sunday in the month, we have a song service and fellowship - can't wait! :) But perhaps I'll wear my masquerade outfit around the board. Since putting up SakrystaAeryn, I've been feeling rather nostalgic for all my old Sakrysta avatars.

^Yeah, you should definitely watch as much of the series as you can before viewing the mini. The miniseries is pretty damn cool so far, but if you haven't seen what came before, a lot of things might not make sense.

Or if you HAVE watched the series before, a season 4 refresher course is never a bad idea. :)

Wow, this baby has really started off with a bang! Sailed through a page in no time  I think you've got a hit here, SB. Lemme bring my 50 barrels of bloodwine in that I salvaged from the old place, and it'll be perfect here! :D

Since I didn't get a chance to say my final goodbyes in my old place (man, I really meant to peek in before it closed), thanks all for the well wishes & for stopping in! I had a great time just being part of it & passing out the bloodwine & slimy gagh

So, keep the great convo going! What's the question, Holloween? I haven't done anything since I was like 13, and folks told me I was too big for trick or treating then. Anyway :p

I've seen all of Season 1, because I have that box, and I've seen episodes here and there from Seasons 2 and 3. I saw almost all of Season 4. So, if I did watch the Mini now, I wouldn't be totally lost. Still, I think I'm leaning toward getting the full effect.

Of course, knowing me, by the time I make it through the whole series, the Mini will be out on DVD. ;)

*** fills a few orders ***

While it's good you're keeping spoilers out of here, I still wanna know what happened. :p

*** heads over to SF&F and various websites ***

Well I watched the second part of the Farscape mini series earlier. Abso-frelling-lutely brillient does not begin to cover how much I loved it. It was just amazing.

Afterwards I watched the first episode of the new Battlestar Galactica series. While it was good, it just didn't compare to the Farscape mini. There's just something about the characters on Farscape, I love every single one of them. So I think I'm gonna have to watch the BSG ep again, sometime when I'm not all excited about FS. :)

This is an official Steven-Babylon 5 update... stand by...

   :D

One disc into season 4 and... holy crap...

Cartagia (sp?) is clearly nuts. The Vorlons are going stir-crazy. Garbaldi seems a bit... off. :borg: Londo's dream about the Shadow vessels flying over Centauri Prime has finally come to pass. ;) Sheridan and Delenn are engaged (like who didn't see that coming? :p). And G'Kar is now missing an eye... :(

Couple questions:
a) What's going on back on Earth? It's been like over half a year since B5 left the Earth Alliance.
b) What the hell happened when they took down the Vorlon?

Victor Charlie Charlie, can I have a diet coke please

a) The Gestapo took over (aka Nightwatch) and Martial Law still holds, and they're trying to get complete control over Mars by eradicating the resistance.

b) Kosh killed him :D, Sheridan was stilling carrying a piece of Kosh in him, and since the Vorlons are a higher being, us mere mortals can't take them on, only an equal, like a Shadow (how they killed Kosk) or by another Vorlon.

Still?! Are there any upcoming episodes that deal with the whole Earth mess?

Okay... so I just watched "The Long Night" and "Into the Fire"....

Umm...

Now what? :borg:

Is there a point to continue watching the series? I mean, the Shadows and Vorlons are both gone now... hmm...

You had to ask a silly question eventually, I suppose. :p

There most definitely is a point. Be quite assured of that.

Well kev told me to drop by...I'm back in the neighborhood after too long gone. A couple years ago I frequently haunted this forum, but then devoted myself mainly to the lounges...I plan to may myself known here again, ;). Anyway...hi to kev and CV the two former Commies that I just spotted in the Garak thread!

Ohh...we seem to be discussing Babylon 5. Awesome show...yes, I would say that you definately should keep watching!!! I'm watchng it with some friends (an episode each week along with Enterprise) for the first time and we're a quarter of the way through season five. I'm loving every minute of it. I can definately assure you that there is life after the Shadow War... :D Quite honestly Bab-5 ranks right up there with DS9 as one of my all-time favourite Sci-fi shows.

~Black Wolff

Hey! Black Wolff came on in! Welcome man! Glad to see you're restaking your claim here with the Niners. This place is like a little DS9 lounge, so stop by anytime. And there're no pillow attacks here, so it's safe. Or boring ;)

I think we've started a little known closet B5 discussion amongst Niners. Niners who are also Fivers I guess. You can see all the goings on here & in a recently closed thread, "A Klingon, A Ferengi, A Hologram & You". I've barely seen B5, but these posts have peaked my interest. One day I'll have to tune in again.
