Just wanted to introduce myself say hello,
I know it's late but

I merged your thread with the existing introductions thread, not realizing you had already posted here several times.

Please don’t start duplicate threads.

Thanks!

Howdy! I'm a pretty young fan, been into trek for as long as I can remember but have been getting back into it recently after a somewhat long leave of absence. I generally just lurk but love discussing the franchise with people. I'm particularly into TOS and DS9 at the moment, but I adore just about every series. I'm an avid reader of the novels, despite their often somewhat low quality... part of my interest in joining this forum was to possibly review them. Thanks for reading, I hope to be able to communicate with some of you in the future and not be too shy :-]

Hi.
I am 19 and have basically grown up with Star Trek with my dad.
My favourite Shows Are Enterprise and Deep Space Nine and my least favourite is Picard (To be fair, i stopped watching in the first Season so it might have gotten better)
I found this webside while looking for some Lower Decks input (which i just started watching). I hope i can have many interesting conversations here ,as the YouTube comments aren't the best place for Trek discussion

Greetings, I am a lifelong Trek fan. I tend to prefer pre 2009 trek but have enjoyed some of the newer stuff as well. I have not been on a message board in many years but am looking to join a community a little less toxic than twitter. I hope to get to know many of you and learn from your insights into this franchise we all love.

Hello, qaleghneS, hanya, T'nar pak sorat y'rani, shaoi kon.

I am old enough to have watched The Original Series when it was first shown on UK television and have been watching Star Trek ever since (although with somewhat more difficulty in these days of multiple streaming channels...). My favourite series is DS9 and, probably not unexpectedly, I am not so keen on the newer series.

I've been reading the posts here for several years and have finally summoned up the courage to join. Now all I have to do is screw up my courage to the sticking point and join in!

Hi, I grew up watching TNG (in reruns on Saturday afternoons rather than in prime time). As a young adult I watched all the existing series when they were on Netflix. I grew to love DS9. I also finally watched all the movies. I didn't have Paramount+ for streaming for the early seasons of DIS and the first season of PIC, but now I do and I've been keeping up with all the new Trek.

I've been putting this off for far too long...

Oops! Wrong forum...

I've been lurking around here for a while now and finally decided to speak up. My parents are original Trekkies, so I was pretty much raised on it. They both still rewatch TOS and the original movies, and mom is into DSC, and SNW. I made it through UFO, 1999, one episode of TAS, Star Wars (episode nothing), all the log book paperbacks and others before I finally got to se the Big E live on screen, so the refit Enterprise is the one I have a soft spot for. (Being in the sticks without cable, our local stations didn't show TOS reruns.)
I pretty much love all things Trek, but unlike a lot of my generation, the newer incarnations for the most part, are my favorite so far. At the moment, I'm trying to get back into kit building and improve my meager skills and I have several in various stages of completion.
Well, that's me in a nutshell, I'm looking forward to chatting with you all as I can.

Hello! I have been lurking on and off for a year. SNW finally prodded me to sign up.

I had seen bits of TOS here and there but never got into it. TNG was my real introduction to Trek. I fell in love with the Enterprise-D and her crew. I enjoyed all the later Trek series and films to varying degrees (especially DS9), but they were “just entertainment” while TNG was home.

I never expected any nuTrek could bring back the “I want to live on that ship and hang with with that crew” feeling that TNG gave me but SNW has done it, so here I am!

Oh, I did go back and watch TOS while TNG was airing and appreciated it a lot more after.

My favorite Treks in order are TNG, SNW, DS9, TOS, PIC (S3), LD, ENT, DSC (S2), PIC (S1 & S2), VOY, DSC (S1, S3, S4), PRO.

Hope I’m doing this right! I’ve been a Trek Fan since 1966 with TOS. I was six years old and watched with my parents who were Trek fans. ` I used to be a regular on the AOL Star Trek boards in the days of dial up. It was great to talk to other fans, and it was there I discovered how awesome DS9 was. I like all the Trek of that era from TNG thru Voyager, but DS9 is my favorite. My all time favorite toggles between TOS and DS9. I tried some nuTrek but it just doesn’t feel like Trek to me and I’ve seen little of it (third season of Picard excepted). I’ve missed the old days of talking Trek on a bulletin board, and a search for boards brought me here.

Welcome. I hope you share some pictures of your uniforms at some point. Costuming is so cool to me.

Greetings and felicitations!
Trekker from America here. Was a HUGE Trekker from childhood into early twenties, kinda fell off until streaming became a thing which rekindled it all again. Hope I can contribute to some fun conversations!

A gretting from Spain (yeah we know we don't exist for Paramount). Viewing star Trek from back in the 90 when i was child. First tos and later tng in the TV and later the rest of the series in survival Mode buying the DVDs at 100e/season, I am one if these guys that buy star Trek tos in VHS without have a VHS playera in the '90 . :D.

My favorite show tng of course, voyager and tos. But al the finish of the day i watch every star Trek series.
