Delicious ! I prefer them with dark chocolate chips! And so much better than gagh!

I was also pleasantly surprised that B’Elanna was available. I really didn’t have another good idea for what I would want for my username here. While I love TNG and DS9 - it wasn’t until Voyager when I felt I saw myself and aspects of my personality and identity represented on screen. As I return to Voyager every few years I continue to unpack the ways that I relate to her and her journey. Accept for Tom Paris, I never understood what she saw in him. I’m partial to Chakotay myself. :luvlove:

I was the same way about the name Tribble Threat. And I completely agree with you about Paris. I just find him annoying. I can really picture Torres with Chakotay

Wow... I have had an account here since 2011 (should have an older one, but things happen), but have almost never posted. I wonder what kept me away? Probably wanting my own website or something, who knows?

Well, I have returned! So to reintroduce myself, I have been a Star Trek fan more than 3/4 of my life -- I can recall watching the premieres of 4 of the last 6 series (TOS was before my time, though of course I love it now, and DIS took me a while to get into, as did PIC) when they aired. I have been writing fan fiction off and on for more than half my life. Have gone through several crews and starships over the years, but have over the last six years been fairly regularly working on a starbase crew as well as a starship crew, and have plans to narrow that focus even more to just a starship crew. Once I have some hanging storylines tied up, my focus will be on a series set close to the time of ST:PIC.

Sounds cool Cam. Do you blog your writing, or host it on a site anywhere to share? Either way, continued good luck with which sounds like wonderfully satisfying writing! (Though I'm sure it's frustrating at times :) )
Be well,
--Ron--

Hello All,
I’m excited to find this site. Your friendly half-Klingon-half human trying to balance both parts here.

I’ve been a Star Trek fan since I was a kid in the 80s growing up on TNG. I’ve not seen as many of the films, but I love DS9 and Voyager. I’ve recently gone back and watched TNG films to help fill in the gaps for Picard. I also enjoy Discovery; although, that seems to be an unpopular sentiment here. I’ve tried to watch TOS, but I just can’t get into it.

Nice B'Elanna avatar.

Greetings and salutations denizens of the intrawebs.

Not sure why I never signed up here before, I've only been discussing Trek on the internet since before the world wide web. I'm a second generation Trekkie, as my Mom was 15 in 1966 and loved staying home Friday nights apparently. I had all of the Megos in the 70's, I grew up watching reruns of TOS on usually B&W televisions. I've seen every Trek film in theaters on initial release. My favorite is TWOK. I favor TOS over everything, but I enjoy most of every Trek, except Voyager. I hate it. With a passion. But that's just me. I really enjoyed Enterprise. My ex-wife worked a bit on that and on Nemesis doing some costuming. In fact I have a piece of Star Fleet fabric.

Anyway I'm 49, singled Dad of a 13 year old daughter. I mod on some other sites so you know I'll be a good citizen

Hi Everyone,

I’m a Star Trek Strange New Worlds author ("Alpha and Omega" and "The Dreamer and the Dream"), a contributor to Star Trek Magazine, and, more recently, to the Star Trek Adventures RPG by Modiphius games.

Trekbbs is a phenomenal space! I’m here to hang out, engage in conversations, and
contribute to that future that’s brought us all together!

Just posting here again to say Hi! It's been years since I last left a message on the forum but I'm in the midst of a massive re-watch of Star Trek (in chronological production order). I'm hoping to get up to Star Trek Picard before end of the year, currently on season 6 of DS9. Look forward to contributing again :)

Hello all, thought I should introduce myself!

I am a 30-year old second generation Trekkie by way of my much older cousin and my uncle. We would watch episodes of TNG, and I would play that one Klingon movie style PC game, when I would go up to their house for the summer. I wore a Star Fleet Academy hoodie all throughout High School and now work in IT for a small municipality. I have a wife and 14-month old daughter who is now walking around the house like a crazy person while we try and pack to move into our new home we just bought.

I have recently dove head first into the Star Trek novels and I am doing a re-watch of all the series starting with TOS. I also recently got into the Star Trek Adaventures RPG and have a slew of books on the way for that. I wish Star Trek still had a CCG in game stores!

Well, I guess I'm just rambling now. LLAP.

Welcome! Got my wife to re watch three seasons of DS9 recently.
