Interesting set o' questions. Especially as Borg can be a human species as they've assimilated many, as well as humanoids that might share identical roots per one or two theories and/or stories, but pedantry and before getting into far more pedantry aside...
...like how the Borg are more like a monster than a villain... and thankfully they discounted the movies from "which series had the best uniforms" because movies weren't the same as the various TV series... and how I really wanted to vote "The Menagerie" over "The Doomsday Machine" but I stupidly clicked "HINT" and that changed my mind... or how "The Inner Light" wasn't a candidate for best TNG episode (funnily enough), or which movie is the worst since TMP had a consistent plot but was recycled and boring yet STV was actually exciting but riddled with unfunny comedy and massive inconsistencies... or how I can't answer my favorite Trek actor because 3 of the 4 have different traits I admire equally so I flipped a coin and it landed on its edge (it's the only way to get 3 effective sides), thankfully there's a worse one in the pack but what was I saying about pedantry? Oh yeah, how that's less important than how any one of any age group can point out "Enterprise" being a prequel with better technology than TOS so how is that one even in the list?
Anyhoo,
That would be telling and sadly this is not a dating site
They almost got my age right but the underlying claimed reasons are a huge
@4:40 for the pedantic sound effect
(but start at 2:17 to watch all of it in a far more entertaining way! Or 0:00 to hear the original theme song, rekerjiggered and/or ported with other music cues for 1978's "Card Sharks" and do revel in its use of the infamous Theremin as well... )
noise because my parents were never keen on sci-fi and I loathed a lot of TNG for years when it first came out, unhelped by how awful season 1 often was. (I did grow to like it but later found something of interest in the earlier seasons and preferred those over what it became. )
I retook the test, with the six questions' secondary answers instead and got
My aunt's age, which I find to be fascinating except the reason claimed was fairly superficial and, as usual, not reflecting on tangential and other pedantic possibilities
And now, I need to binge the coffee I purged shortly before taking and commenting on this test before I get pedantic and hyper...
As a child, your parents took you to the movie so that they could watch the "The Wrath of Khan" and "The Search for Spock." They passed on their love for the franchise to you. When someone asks you what your favorite "Star Trek" series is you usually reply "Star Trek: The Next Generation" because that's the one you associate with your youth.
This...is pretty accurate! I do like pretty much the whole franchise though.
These kinds of thing are notoriously terrible, and mostly just exist to make you sit through an ad or two.
That said, this one pegged my age exactly. (But screwed the pooch on one aspect.)
You Got: 44
As a child, your parents (Nope, just one parent) took you to the movie so that they could watch the "The Wrath of Khan" and "The Search for Spock." (Not "and", just Trek III) They passed on their love for the franchise to you. When someone asks you what your favorite "Star Trek" series is you usually reply "Star Trek: The Next Generation" because that's the one you associate with your youth. (Nope, DS9. Nothing to do with youth, it's just the best one IMO.)
"Star Trek" debuted when you were 12. Immediately, you were captivated by the adventures of James T. Kirk, Spock, Scotty, and the rest of the crew. You have seen the franchise go from one show that struggled in the ratings to a global phenomenon. While you appreciate the 80s and 90s "Star Trek" series, you will always have a soft spot for the series that started it all.
31, apparently. Not too far off, and correct on the parent being a Trekkie, but I'm not especially partial to TNG - it's my least-favourite of the live-action series.
This assumes that all the iterations are basically just as good, so that formative experiences are the only real factor, but everyone with a feel for acting and character development knows that DS9 is best, followed by TNG, TOS, ENT, VGR and DSC. (I was exposed to TNG long before DS9, but it quickly became obvious that the good TNG writers transferred there in 1994.)
