Wednesday (6/3) Box Office - Star Trek #4 - $1.3 million - $213 millio

Re: Wednesday (6/3) Box Office - Star Trek #4 - $1.3 million - $213 mi

So, I have a question: when it starts to leave theaters, what's a sure way to find out where it's still playing that's close by?

IMDB. Using their showtimes feature, it will show you the closest place a particular movie is playing, even if it's hundreds of miles away.

No-one can beat my TPM record. I knew it!

Ha!

You saw TPM nine times?

Someone is happy....

Thank you to those who linked to movie-times generators! I just hope they are dependable, because I'm going to be in withdrawal.

I've already alerted the authorities. Everyone remain where you are.
 I love you, Squiggyfm.

We saw the first 10 times in an IMAX, so we spent $250 bucks before counting the regular theater admissions (13 times x 2 now, and plans for the weekend). They can spot me an echoey soundtrack for personal use while I'm waiting for the blu-ray.

16 will get me 20.

don't even step out that door!

I'd hate to see it that many times in the cinema, and end up getting bored of it. As fantastic as it is, seeing it 10+ times seems like the appeal would gradually lose something every time.
Not for me, obviously. :) It's a rich feast.

Are they giving you a punch card when you go to the theater? Or season tickets?

;)

Re: Wednesday (6/3) Box Office - Star Trek #4 - $1.3 million - $213 mi

wait... TPM or TMP?

they're two entirely different movies, you know ;)

The Phantom Menace. TMP came out 14 years before I was born. :p

You're 16?

Oh geez.

Damn. Somebody caught that. And it had to be you.

Edit: I wanted to say 24, but that was too much of a stretch. But people in supermarkets and bars still ask me if I'm over 16. "Aren't you too young to drink?" And I'm like, nah, I've been 16 for ten years now.

NO. DAMN. I WAS NOT BEING SERIOUS!

GAH!

I'm 26, but this woman in this shop thought I was sixteen and wouldn't sell me any wine, and I didn't have an id on me.

Yikes.

Haha...that sucks. I'm 26 too and people have thought I'm in high school still.

And I knew you weren't serious when I posted that. I just wanted to point out the inconsistency. :)
