My darling, I went to see TPM 9 times at the cinema. It was cheap, and I'd just broken up with my (then)boyfriend. Top that.

You mean, TMP? If you do, then you win!!! I must say, going to see this one is like falling off a log; what you did took stamina!

Saw Serenity 6 times, I think, but that's my record.

This one I've only seen twice so far.

Although I did buy the soundtrack on iTunes.

Ha!

So, I have a question: when it starts to leave theaters, what's a sure way to find out where it's still playing that's close by?

You have to keep your eyes open... and travel the world, too. :D

"You shouldn't drink and bake" er, post.

That's Arnie ^ in case there's anyone who doesn't know that. I don't remember the American name of that film, since I saw it in Germany; but in German, it was City Hai (city shark).

Just kidding; it was just a funny line.

I'm amazed how this movie still has million dollar weekdays a month after release.

Hate to be negative here but all signs point to Trek now missing $250 million. $240 million is more likely.

Hey wait, is that negative? :D

I noticed on the-numbers.com that the TV rights have been sold for 12% of the final North American gross (or USA gross, not sure) so for every dollar made here there is another 12c for the TV rights :D

Then there is the DVDs...

Then there are the other TV rights not sold yet, pay-per-view, rentals, overseas TV sales and whatever else there is.

I think it was 12% of $200 million, assuming it reached it. So, it topped out at $24 million.
