We will "take care of you"

Hi, I am trying to find out which episode (from the original Star Trek) was about authoritarian superior beings that used quotes like: "We take care of them" (their ruled populace), "we give them everything they need" & / or "we will take care of you" (too, Trek crew). I think it may have only been a voice that was heard by Kirk & crew. The beings meant to control others in exchange for their "care" as best I can remember. Political messages about government overreach vs. liberty and freedom, socialism / communism, etc.

Thanks for your help identifying this particular episode title. It had some good but ominous lines I'd like to hear again...

Talosians from "The Cage" and "The Menagerie" were going to take care of Pike and Vina or whomever wanted to serve them as slaves in a gilded cage.

LANDRU: You will be absorbed. Your individuality will merge into the unity of the good, and in your submergence into the common being of the Body, you will find contentment and fulfillment. You will experience the absolute good.

Thanks for suggestions. I'm still searching. Watching episodes I can find and reading storylines on imdb. I've likely seen every original episode, but a few decades ago for most.

I heard the partcular episode sound clip on a political radio show several months ago. Briefly looked around... No luck and now I'm on a mission. Of the more political messaged episdes, it's Not The Apple, Cage or Cloud Minders. Landru seemed promising, but not the one. Many episodes probably could fit my terrible description, but it's all I can recall. Voice was ominous when speaking: We... will.. take care of you. The male voice ruler or ruling class did seem to legitimatly care about their inferior subjects.

"I, Mudd" had the hotness of Norman telling Kirk and crew how they would be taken care of.

The story is silly in many ways, even breaking the fourth wall to let the audience know they're now going to play it straight for the rest of the episode until its coda, but I'm positive that's the episode had the same line uttered. :D

Woohoo, I found it!

(1:57 has Norman saying the phrase that pays but the whole scene is a hoot. Also, with all that talk of servicing, be glad the Borg didn't assimilate them! )

Like every seventh ep or so, ha ha; actually it sounds like Apollo in "Who Mourns," but that is only one guy, not a race.

"We shall serve them. Their kind will be eager to accept our service. Soon they will become completely dependent upon us." "Their aggressive and inquisitive instincts will be under our control." "We shall - take care of them."
