The dialogue scenes are actually encouraging to me. I expect the action and CGI to underwhelm, but just getting decent characterization and heroes actually being heroic would be a step up from every pre-Wonder Woman DCEU movie, and the clips give me some hope that we'll actually get those things.
Still, I'm waiting for the reviews. You can't really judge the whole from its isolated parts, because what matters is how they fit together, and that -- structure, pacing, and story coherence -- is one of Snyder's biggest weaknesses. Of course, those are things for which the editing process is key, so the fact that Whedon handled the editing and reshoots is highly encouraging in itself. But I'll need the reviews to tell me if it actually (at least in the reviewers' opinion) comes together as a functional story.
Of course, it's not as if I'm likely to see the film in the theater anyway, given how broke I am currently. Unless it gets amazingly good reviews, I'll probably have to wait until the library gets it. (I still haven't even seen Guardians of the Galaxy 2 yet, although my reserved copy may be in at my local library as early as today.)
