Waters of Mars Airdate?

I assume it goes without saying we will get a Doctor Who Confidential, oh sod it why am I even asking, of course it will, it doesn't need to be announced anymore.

December 19th for the U.S.!!?? Why not November 16th?

Because as I mentioned earlier the US networks set their schedules farther in advance than the BBC appears able to do.

Also Dec. 19 is exactly one week before Dec. 26. Do the math -- it looks to me that BBC America is setting up a three-week run.

Well some of us in the US will be watching it on or around November 16th. :techman:

Don't worry, I'll also be preordering the Blu Rays as soon as Amazon puts them up. I've already looked but Amazon doesn't seem to have them up yet. :(

While that would be cool (and I hope your right), I think we will be seeing the BBC America airings of the last two specials at the end of January, with the DVD release to come a week later on February 2nd.

With both Planet of the Dead and Torchwood: Children of Earth the DVD releases came the week after they aired on BBC America. I think that pattern will hold for the final two specials.

Again, I hope your right.

Random tidbit that may have been mentioned before but my friend just noticed it and I don't think it merits a new thread:

"The Waters of Mars" is an anagram for "Wars of the Master."

Excellent news! Waters of Mars at 7pm and straight over to BBC2 for all new Top Gear at 8pm. BBC, I salute your genius.
Top Gear's still in repeats by then isn't it? I will say that really is the best thing on TV.

Pretty sure I read somewhere not too long ago that the 15th was when the new series would begin.
Really? Great! Forget Doctor Who, it's a new series of Top Gear that has me excited.

Sigh.

DW isn't full of deliberately hidden anagrams no matter how much some people claim it is.

It's called Waters Of Mars because it's set on Mars and has Water in it.

But there are always Master anagrams! Since the days of Antony Ainley! It has to be true!

Ooh, wow, that's gonna be one heel of a ride.

"State your name, rank and intention!"

"The Doctor, doctor, fun."
