Well some of us in the US will be watching it on or around November 16th.December 19th for the U.S.!!?? Why not November 16th?

Because as I mentioned earlier the US networks set their schedules farther in advance than the BBC appears able to do.
Also Dec. 19 is exactly one week before Dec. 26. Do the math -- it looks to me that BBC America is setting up a three-week run.

Top Gear's still in repeats by then isn't it? I will say that really is the best thing on TV.Excellent news! Waters of Mars at 7pm and straight over to BBC2 for all new Top Gear at 8pm. BBC, I salute your genius.
Whoops, my bad! Misread December for November. It shouldn't take 34 days to get to the US, that's true.Ummm... why? Four days isn't too lon to wait. Oh. Unless you don't get BBCA. In which case, my sympathies.
I do have BBCA, but December 19th?!?! There's greater chance that I will miss this!
Really? Great! Forget Doctor Who, it's a new series of Top Gear that has me excited.Top Gear's still in repeats by then isn't it? I will say that really is the best thing on TV.Excellent news! Waters of Mars at 7pm and straight over to BBC2 for all new Top Gear at 8pm. BBC, I salute your genius.
Pretty sure I read somewhere not too long ago that the 15th was when the new series would begin.
Random tidbit that may have been mentioned before but my friend just noticed it and I don't think it merits a new thread:
"The Waters of Mars" is an anagram for "Wars of the Master."

It was actually "Sir Giles Estram" in "The King's Demons." Giles isn't important; the last name is an anagram of "Master."^I remember Tremas from "The Keeper of Trakken." What is "Giles Restram" an anagram for?
