Watching Star Trek for the first time (again)

Trek sighting for tonight! The January 30, 1964 episode of Kraft Suspense Theatre stars Frank Overton (Elias Sandoval from This Side of Paradise) as defense attorney for four engineers who killed a fifth to survive a cave-in.

Sorry guys, I think i'm getting my wires crossed with Theo Marcuse who also died in 1967 soon after his Trek episode was screened!

Tonight's entry (actually from day after tomorrow) is Malachi Throne in Combat! -- did you know that before he was an Admiral, he was a Private in WW2 France? :)

If it's of any interest, I've been doing 55 Years Ago This Week posts in The Classic/Retro Pop Culture Thread, mainly focusing on the music with some news items. The Beatles made their historic first Sullivan appearance 55 years ago tonight!

And I've been watching a bunch of TV shows--including Trek--in 50th anniversary sync (also covered in that thread). I thought I was the only one crazy enough to do something like that! :p

ETA: If you wanna see more of Frank Overton, he was a regular on 12 O'Clock High, which started in Fall of '64. (And Robert Lansing was the lead in Season 1.)

Wasn't our Sal in two episodes of The Outer Limits? The Human Factor was another show she did as well!
