Watching season 1 of Fringe

Didn't watch for the Observer in Episode 1 and only on Episode 2.

Regarding John Noble's eyes, is his left one blue and his right green--or "bluish" and "greenish"? They don't seem the same color.

Any requests for me to look for something in particular by anyone in an episode?

Just pay careful attention to the episodes that deal with the central mythology of the show. You might appreciate the payoff(s) more than we did on first viewing.

You might also want to add "no spoilers please" or something to that effect in your subject line (I guess it's too late for you to do that yourself now) because some TheMasterOfOrion type will inevitably spoil everything for you.

Ah, I've seen the show. I just thought that, since I spent the money on the blu-ray, I'd actually open the damn thing and watch it. So nothing would be a spoiler to ME, though posts by others might spoil for readers.

Interesting note on the second episode

Where the guy is removing pituitary glands from women to prevent the rapid-aging. The guy says to Olivia, "He should have let me die, but that was his mistake. He was blinded because he loved me. He ...."

Mirroring Peter and Walter.

And this interchange, which made me think Walter "grew" Peter, since they hadn't mentioned another dimension.

Walter: "Peter told me about my former colleague and his son. It's one of the inherent pitfalls of being a scientist: trying to maintain that distinction between God's domain and our own. Sometimes I forget myself, but then you already know that"
Olivia: "What do you mean?"
Walter: "If you've read my file, then you know the truth...about Peter's medical history. I've been meaning to ask you to ..."
Olivia: "Walter, there was no mention of any medical hisotry, just his birthday.'
Walter: "Oh. I was going to ask you to keep it to just the two of us...but then there's no need."
