Was Picard the reason troi wore the stupid bunny suits?

Picard may have been the in-universe reason for Troi's catsuits, but Gene himself was probably the reason that Troi even existed as a character to begin with. I think it is very unlikely that anyone else could have ordered TNG to include a character with a title like "Ship's Counselor".

I liked Troi's Skant uniform. She looks lovely in it in All good things.

But In EaF did the hair stylist leave early before he got to marina? She looks like she's just done a no frillshome perm kit from superdrug and can't find her hair dryer. Then they gave her the Witchy Poo bun for season 1 which was horrid. I think there was one episode- Haven- where she let her hair down.

I appreciated the bunny suit more in season 2 when she had semi normal hair. Although realistically she would have to had got up 2 hours before her shift to get her hair that big!!!

The bunny suit makes no sense. Fashion repeats itself. In what other century would you see a woman either casually or professionally walking around in that outfit? It is just an awful garment for anyone but Marina to wear. Fair dos she pulled it off- albeit the odd Camel Toe scene.

The Turquoise dress with the angled neck plunge was my fave garment. These must have been uniforms because she was always in the bloody things. Picard must have made her wear them.
