Warner bros announce superhero films through 2020

^ Okay, won't lie, that was pretty cute.

Via IGN, back on the Flash front, Iris West actress Kiersey Clemons has said:

"Rick was one of the main reasons I wanted to do the movie ... So him not being a part of it is obviously very upsetting to me."

"Ezra [Miller, who plays the titular superhero Barry Allen] and I are going to do what we promised to do from the beginning," Clemons told THR. "No matter who the director is, I am going to do what I think Iris should be."

... Yeah, I'm sticking with my pet theory on this one. :p

I saw Criminal last night. It's a pretty decent spy thriller with a sci fi twist and Kevin Coster is great in it. Check it out if you can. I also got a kick out of the fact that the entire cast was made up of people who played DC characters.

Kevin Costner - Pa Kent
Gal Gadot - Wonder Woman
Antje Traue - Faora

Ryan Reynolds - Green Lantern
Tommy Lee Jones - Two-Face
Gary Oldman - Commissioner Gordon
Colin Salmon - Walter Steele (on Arrow)

Meh, Flash is a guy in a suit who runs really fast. That's a good fit for a modestly budgeted CW show with a posse of entertaining sidekicks, but not something that cries out to me as needing a huge IMAX canvas the way Spider-Man and his skyscraper swinging does.

This is your argument for not doing a Flash movie on the big screen? This is it? Well, I disagree.

Ayer and Robbie are back for the Gotham City Sirens movie.

It's a good thing Ayer is not also writing the script this time.
Suicide Squad could have really benefited from someone else going over his script...

Well, that and the fact that he already has a perfectly entertaining, if somewhat insubstantial, live-action show going, yeah. Deal with it. :p

Ayer was very appreciative of the fans and the general audience who helped make the film a financial success. He thanked them several times on twitter.

Critic reviews aside, SS was the biggest hit of his career so far. He enjoyed working with the cast and making them film, and I surmise reports of him having sour grapes with WB were exaggerated. Since he agreed to come back so soon.

Oh, yeah I can see he'd want to come back, I'm just surprised WB would actually want him back.
