Well, that sucks. Here I was hoping she'd be getting a bigger role and now she's dead. I was hoping maybe that she was only wounded, but I heard the word "murder" in the previews.

I can only hope that she'll be restored somehow when the astrolabe plot is resolved. But after bringing back Steve, I doubt if they will.

Other than that, this was a great episode. All of the individual adventures were great, especially Pete's. And I loved Mrs Frederic's and Steve's trip to the Vatican; I wonder what the real Brother Data will be like as compared to Artie's hallucination.

And, yeah, always great to see Amy Acker.

Yeah, I'm wondering if Lena is "permanently dead." Yes, an artifact could bring her back, but would they do that again so soon?

Dramatically, it's a great move for the show but personally, I was hoping to see them develop her character a bit more.

That whole final sequence left me speechless. I thought the Artie was evil thing was unlikely but it seems he's more of a host, my guess is Leena saw a different aura. Mrs Frederic said she would've known if something was wrong with someone so this opens up a lot of questions. I imagine next week we'll learn about Mrs Frederic's connection to Leena if she does stay dead, I like Leena but it would be good to see dead be dead and have consequences. Guess we're back to Claudia using the dagger to kill the evil.

Also it struck me this must've been a serious mindfuck for Artie, he was so convinced it was the real Brother Adrian, it didn't even register on Steve's lie detector.

That was my interpretation of her reaction as well. She definitely saw something that freaked her out, and since there was nothing noticeably different on the surface, so it must have been something no one else could see.

Side note: Mrs Frederic is so awesome.

I'm going to disagree. I would rather her remain a mystery. Just let her be awesome. Maybe see an early story... but I don't know if I really want to know her "origin."
