Warehouse 13 Season 4 (discussion, spoilers)

A lot of fan theories seem to be pointing towards McPherson having something to do with this.

We don't know exactly what McPherson knew about the watch, why he left it for Artie. I wonder if McPherson used the astrolabe which caused him to turn evil, both he and Artie's possessor were releasing artifacts into the world...

^^ How mysterious is Mrs Frederic, though? really. She's a Human being, she's got kids and grandkids. We know that she's very old and connected to the Warehouse. She's cool because she is who she is. I don't think knowing her biography would lessen that.

That's an interesting theory. Since McPherson was redeemed, it would be cool if he were to somehow come back and save Artie.

Mysterious is as Mysterious does. We do have a fair amount of knowledge about her without it degrading her mysteriousness. I agree that an origin story probably wouldn't diminish that.

I did get a McPherson "vibe" during that last scene, somehow.

True. But it's not necessarily McPherson possessing Artie, but rather Artie being tainted by the same corruption that got McPherson.

Very good episode. Artie's breakdown at the end was terrific.

Is Leena really dead?

We don't know yet. I'm hoping she's just wounded. They were standing right near the bronzing machine when it happened, so I have a thought that they might be able to save her by bronzing her, and then call in the doctor.

The trailers have Mrs. Frederic saying Artie killed someone. And there's mention that there was a murder. I'm assuming she's dead. Sucks.

Yeah, I heard the word "murder" in the previews. I'm holding out hope that this is misleading, somehow, but I'll probably be disappointed.

Just because she was murdered still doesn't mean she'll stay dead. In Warehouse 13 anything's possible.

Hurry up, Tuesday!

They never really did anything with her character, and she didn't have much chemistry with anyone on the show (except from a forced perspective by the writers). I wouldn't be surprised if they finally got rid of her permanently, especially now that they're potentially adding another character to the show.

Tonight, Episode 4:10 (Mid Season Finale) We All Fall Down

"The team reels from a loss of one of their own as they race to uncover Artie's plan."

According to wikipedia, the second half of the season starts in April.

My guess is that whatever/whoever the evil possessing Artie is will be dealt with, but the consequences will echo through 4.5
