Voyager Nacelles

It's such a time-sensitive matter that they held off on it for two months.

Which was why once they got the Defiant, there was no more time to waste.

When they get there, they end up waiting for 17 hours, so maybe they should have kept it to warp 5 after all.

I think it would be a safe assumption that the Deifant had an improved warp system since it was brand new. It also had the gel packs which was something new

I must admit, when Voyager is first hit by Species 8472 in "Scorpion" and Tom makes a warp jump while they're spinning out of control, it looked really cool how the nacelles popped up.

If the nacelles "see" each other they work better...or something...something
