Voyager Movie?

TNG was a pig. Invading the DS9 pilot, crashing the ENT finale, infiltrating VOY.. TNG thinks it is sooooo cool but it isn't. Did we see TNG in the reboot, the FUTURE of Star Trek? No. We saw Spock. TNG's days of sucking off the other teats is over.

"I bet you can squeal like a pig. Weeeeeeee!"

I wonder if they ever showed Deliverance for Movie Night on Enterprise?

Niot that it would really happen, but I heard Brent Spiner wanted to be in the up and coming Trek sequel. I wonder how that would play out.

As Soong reminiscing about his adventures with Archer?

Although if they're do overing the Space Seed? He could be brought in as an expert to examine the Supermen?

True, they could have had him as Arik Soong as I feel there was a LOt of potential untapped for that characterisation.

You haven't been reading the ongoing comic book?

They're taking the old adventures and see how they play out faced against a new crew with different technology.

They're up to about issue 6.

They did Gary Micthel turning into a God and the the Galileo 7 and...

I'm quite behind in my reading.

OH!

ITS THURSDAY!

New Comics day!

Whoopy!

Go get the new issue so you can tell us all about it!

I don't follow he comics or sci-fi magazines that promote the series, but I would like the next movie (currently filming btw) to try a more original trek than Khan.

Bu I don't want to get us into trouble by speaking off-topic and in the wrong board too. I have resigned msyelf to the fact that there will never be a Voyager movie or TV special. But I hope the cast and crew always know how much we, as fans, loved them and still, to this day, love them.

Maybe they'll be a fanfilm?

Maybe there has already been a fanfilm.

I spent last night watching the fan series "Odyssey"

This ship gets lost behind enemy lines in Andromeda, the experienced command crew is killed in a battle, leaving a gay Bajoran junior science officer in command, who is pissed off that his husband is 2 and 1/2 million light years away thinking about playing the field. To save the day in the pilot the odyssey had to use its slipstream drive as a bomb to close an artificial wormhole being used to invade the milky way... Oh, and the first officer is a Romulan who thinks of human beings as barely useful cattle, who just happened to be on board when every thing went to hell.

It's like the producers said "Voyager sucks, but lets pick though it's plot for a usuable story."

very real.

The producer is gay, half the cast is gay, and there's no fcc to insist that homosexuals are imaginary.

There's also a lot of straight people falling in love as well.

no porn.

it's still Star trek with all those bashful 80s metaphors walking around the sex act, but some times we get real gems like finding out that there are ridges on Klingon penises.

hidden frontier ran for 7 years and then had two spin off shows running concurrently for three years, one of which was the Odyssey which I was talking about, and the other was the Helena which was about what was happening in the AQ and how a girl captain fucked up completely while trying to rescue her friends stranded in Andromeda, until she's public enemy number one hunted by everyone because she was experimenting with omega as a power source and there were some explosions.

Hidden Frontier started in 1999, so the stories they were telling and their production values by the end, even by the middle, were a frakk load more impressive. Don't feel concerned if you feel nauseous watching the pilot, and the pilot WILL make you feel nauseous, because it's kinda really painful until you acclimatize and remember that no one is being paid. After you've accepted that transition, just enjoy the ride.

I just loved watching "Captain" Shelby trying not to swear every time evil doubled down. Then I'd tap on the blooper real and she'd just unload with the fbombs. She's pretty without he expletives, but the mouth on that woman is something to be marvelled and respected.
