Tattoo winning season two

Season Three for me is probably the weakest in the show. Plenty to choose from. I really don't care for The Chute, False Profits, Remember, Unity, Darkling or Rise (though the Neelix/Tuvok dislike is interesting to watch). There's a couple of epsiodes I really like such as Distant Origin, Worst Case Scenario and even The Swarm has its charms but overall, I find there is less to like here than most seasons.

The one I absolutely hate though is Sacred Ground. Dull to watch and the whole "science doesn't have all the answers" thing is tedious.

Honourable mention for best season three episode: Worst Case Scenario.

My least favorite episode of this season has to be "Real Life." I like the sci-fi B-plot, but the doctor's A-plot is, in my opinion, melodramatic and manipulative, and I just don't care for it all.

But, on the bright side, Season 3 has some real gems that I enjoy such as "Future's End," "Flashback," "Scorpion," "Displaced," "Worst Case Scenario," "Macrocosm," and "Distant Origin." Some other episodes are just okay, but not bad.

"Coda"

Good Lord, Janeway's "funeral" took up more screen-time than Spock's in "The Wrath of Khan"! And it was all in her own mind. Doesn't really speak well of Janeway's character, does it? And, of course, there's "go back to hell, coward" while the alien walks into the blood red vortex. Subtle, really subtle there guys.

1. Warlord, 5 points
2. The Swarm, 5 points
3. Darkling, 5 points
4. Futures's End (part 1 and 2), 5 points
5. Before And After, 4 points
6. Fair Trade, 4 points
7. Remember, 4 points
8. Flashback, 4 points
9. Distant Origin, 4 points
10. False Profits, 3 points
11. Sacred Ground, 3 points
12. Favorite Son, 3 points
13. Unity, 3 points
14. Displaced, 3 points
15. Worst Case Scenario, 3 points
16. The Chute, 3 points
17. Rise, 2 points
18. Alter Ego, 2 points
19. The Q And The Grey, 2 points
20. Coda, 2 points
21. Scorpion, 1 point
22. Macrocosm, 1 point
23. Real Life, 1 point
24. Blood Fever, 1 point

As usual, I love all the episodes of Season 3 as well. The CHUTE was too dark for me - it would have done much better on DS9. Not that I don't like it - but I like it a little less than other eps.
Overall, a very good season. I loved the Paxau Resort simulation, the idea of the Nekrit Expanse where a lot of stories took place.
They started developing the Tom - B'Elanna story from THE SWARM on. It was a very nice thing that the actual build-up to DAY OF HONOR, in which they finally admitted their love for each other, lasted throughout the whole season. So of course BLOOD FEVER is a gem in my book. It's probably my fav ep of the season.

It's between Favorite Son and Remember although I also skip over False Profits and Sacred Ground.

The run of episodes at the end from Before and After onward are some of my favorite string of episodes in the whole series.

The rest of them are ok but I think The Chute and Blood Fever have lost some of their magic. Maybe I watched them too often.

I watch it for the astral eddy. I do not care about the Doctor's fake family.

Watched Season 3 recently and it's not great. There's some good in there tho, like Before and After, Worst Case Scenario and Scorpion.
Distant Origin was good as well.

I voted for False Profits. Didn't need a sequel to TNGs The Price. Both are rubbish.

The Chute, without hesitation. I felt like I was watching Tom or Harry having a nightmare, except it was real. Extremely unpleasant.

It's kind of interesting that they never really did another Tom and Harry adventure. There were scenes of them talking in the corridors and hanging out together but no more episodes unless you count Demon.

Yeah but Coda gave me my best ever pick up line... "Eventually, you'll come into my matrix and you WILL nourish me for a long, long time" (said with creepy grin as I invade your personal space in a nightclub).

It's between Favorite Son and Remember

There's something fun about the sex-mad all-female planet idea. I wouldn't have lasted five minutes there.

The Chute, without hesitation. I felt like I was watching Tom or Harry having a nightmare, except it was real. Extremely unpleasant.

That whole episode is like a headache that's come to life. Just a relentless dull pain that pulsates for 45 minutes.

I actually like both of those episodes.

Season 3 is just as good as Season 2 and I would say that both are Voyager's Top 2 seasons.

At least with Season 3 they got the worst episode out of the way early, with "The Chute" being the worst.

As for the best I would say that "Future's End" was Voyager's best 2-part episode (I like comparing it to TNG's "Best Of Both World's, as I find it is that good), but the best stand-alone single-episode this season was "Sacred Ground".

I went for Sacred Ground.

Other ones I didn't care much for: The Chute, Remember, Warlord, Fair Trade, Coda, and Favorite Son.

A collection of mostly bad and unmemorable episodes with some exceptions (I loved Distant Origin in particular). I chose Warlord. There was probably an episode I disliked more but I've forgotten. Regardless, I'm not a Kes fan and I think the writing for her got worse and worse and this was an egregiously bad attempt at utilising her.

The Chute was – unlike for Star Trek – quite dark, the atmosphere depressive and that's the reason I went for it. Another episode I didn't like much was Rise!

Favourite Son

A tedious, filler episode, shot in the quickest "get it in the can" sort of way. No-one involved in the making of this episode cared about the script, the way it was shot ... anything. The "wedding," for example, was inexcusably lame. It makes one wonder what scripts got passed over in favour of this outing.

Favourite Son was the worst (a zero out of 10). Then comes False Profit (1-), Coda (1), Sacred Ground (1) and The Chute (1+).

Still, this season is better than the previous ones.

Remember, Sacred Ground, and Favorite Son were the three I was between, I voted for Remember though
