Game VOY Episode Pitch Game

"Then there were two..." - A Voyager away team scouting a planet for resources must take shelter in an abandoned castle during a sudden violent dust storm. Gradually, the team is whittled down to two members as people go missing one by one, inexplicably. Left to uncover what has happened are Tom and Tuvok - the genre fanboy storyteller and the logical Vulcan. Meanwhile, a mock election for President of Voyager pits Neelix and Seven against each other.

Next episode: "Perfect Pitch"

Voyager finds a system with three microsingularities that orbit one another and cause strange interference patterns, and an inhabited planet. Interested in how a civilization in such a bizarre system would develop, they do some undercover surface reconnaisance. They find a roughly middle-age level civilization that must have been more advanced in the past, since they tell stories about these microsingularities. 'When the three gluttons in heaven sing in perfect pitch, the tunnels appear'. The crew figures they are talking about a wormhole and set about to try to create conditions to force the singularities into quantumchromodynamic resonance - they might find a way home. In the B-story, Neelix tries to develop his singing talent despite the earlier disparaging remarks of Seven about his vocal cords.

Next episode: Scepter.

Scepter

Neelix get excited when he recognizes an artifact at a market that turns to be an legendary royal scepter dating back to pre-industrial Talaxia, despite being 20,000 light years away, and barters for it. Trouble ensures when the crystal reacts when in close proximity to something Neelix was cooking....

Next episode: "Bonjour, Mark"

Bonjour, Mark...

Paris, 2371. Mark Johnson is in a cafe in Paris, nibbling on a pastry. He hears "Bonjour, Mark." His Kathryn is there, and they kiss.

Janeway later explains that the Maquis ship was caught in the Badlands plasma storms and destroyed, though Tuvok escaped safely. Tom saved Voyager from the same fate through adept pilotage after the pilot was killed. In reality, Janeway used the Caretaker array to return home, and allowed the Maquis to slip away.

Years begin to pass. Janeway and Matk marry, raise a family, grow old. Then, 25 years after Voyager returns home, a massive Borg invasion shows up in the quadrant. Whole worlds are lost, and Earth itself faces assimilation.

It is revealed that an unknown hardliner member of the Q continuum, seeking to undo all the changes that happened due to Voyager, sent Kathryn back in time and allowed her to make her decision differently. But the consequence is that with no Janeway to stop them, the Borg expansion occured. At the end, Q (the real one) shows up and offers to let her reverse her decision. Knowing what she must do, a silver haired and heartbroken Janeway says to her husband: "Au revoir, Mark."

Next: That Escalated Quickly

That Escalated Quickly - Shortly after Voyager enters a region of space, they receive a communication from a powerful race called the Zarvu, in which they immediately declare war on the Federation. Amused at first, they are shocked when they receive a steady stream of transmissions indicating that the Zarvu fleets are waging deadly war on Federation planets. Voyager becomes trapped in space, a captive audience to the unending assault on their homes, unable to fly or fight for them. Unwilling to sit back and do absolutely nothing, the crew of Voyager learn all they can where they are and send messages to their allies, even as they fear and dread what they see happening, and also try to find a way to escape where they are stuck. The Federation ultimately is victorious, but at a high cost...and that's when the simulation ends. The Zarvu run a sophisticated simulation of wars before engaging in them, to determine if they can win. They had the mistaken impression that Voyager is part of the simulation, not a real ship, and contacted them, having learned of the Federation through other means. Janeway lets them believe that's true, and Voyager finally gets unstuck and warps away.

Next episode: "Reinvention"

Reinvention: Preparing for what he considers to be the inevitable sceanrio that he'll have to lead the crew, the Doctor puts himself in Janeway's (holographic) shoes by running through simulations of her past adventures. Inspired, he creates new subroutines based on her personality. When a malfunction occurs (of course), the Doctor is convinced that he is Janeway and the woman on the bridge is an imposter... (Okay I don't know where I'm going with this but the premise is fun!)

Next episode: The Bomb

"The Bomb" - Paris and Torres must stop an alien species who have harvested dropped but unexploded nuclear bombs from Earth's past, with plans to reverse-engineer and detonate them in order to appear to fulfill an alien prophecy, that they may bring about a takeover of another race. Meanwhile, Janeway and Chakotay run interference with the military officials looking for the explosives to retrieve them, as well as a civilian journalist hoping to uncover the truth about bomb tests near his small town.

Next episode: "Mustard Seed" (https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Matthew 17:20&version=KJV)

^That would have been a better name for Sacred Ground, as it fits Janeway's journey in that episode better but nobody would have got it.

Janeway struggled to find faith in listening to those who said things that seemed to go against her skepticism as a science officer. At first, her faith was small, like a mustard seed in that passage you linked, but in the end, she took a big leap in faith and found the solution in the process.

Sacred Ground is nice but doesn't really fit Janeway's journey as much as Mustard Seed in that context would have.. But like I said already, nobody would have got it. Nobody would have looked it up, especially since Google didn't exist back then... Ask Jeeves did, but I don't think it would have helped, if I remember that search engine back then correctly.

ANYWAY. I'll give it a try.

"Mustard Seed"

Voyager is in dire need of a specific element for their replicators, as they enter a region devoid of resources. Neelix and Janeway have to take a leap of faith as they follow a dubious trader that not even Neelix would have given the time of the day back in his smuggling days, to a star system Neelix never heard of....

"Achilles Heel"

Achilles Heel: As part of their newly established communications, Starfleet and Voyager the latest model of EMH to support the Doctor.

Though still in charge of sick bay, the Doctor finds himself overshadowed by the EMH's superior bedside manner and ability to charm the crew. The Doctor is forced to examine the downside of him exceeding his programming, notably his ego, but not before making an unethical decision...

Next episode: Grounded

"Grounded" - Voyager is forced to land on a planet due to a massive interstellar storm, by the local authorities, who don't want any non-fixed structures floating around and creating projectiles that could do damage. Seven becomes suspicious when readings show no sign of the imminent storm, and with the aid of Tuvok, she investigates what they might not want any ships to observe.

Next episode: "A Watched Pot"

Stowaway: Early in the series, Voyager happens upon a fierce space battle between two rival Kazon factions. Since both sides are enemies and neither asked for help, Voyager is content to stay out of it. Eventually, one side destroys the other and the surviving ships warp away. Voyager prepares to move on, but soon finds that a sole survivor in an escape pod has surreptitiously boarded Voyager. It is revealed to be a young Kazon female. The crew have to decide whether to return her to her people, and if they do, how.

Next: "Peanut Butter and Jelly"

"Peanut Butter and Jelly" - While picnicking on a seemingly uninhabited planet as part of Morale Week, some of the crew of Voyager are temporarily inhabited by child-like lifeforms who want to experience what it's like to be grown-up. This complicates matters when the ship comes under attack from Frolunki raiders, and the crew's Starfleet training and adult skills are trapped in isolation behind the young lifeforms, who got in but can't remember how to leave. The Doctor must take charge and guide them to use the crew's bodies to fight back.

Next episode: "Spin Doctor"

Spin Doctor: Chakotay, Harry, Seven, and the Doctor finds themselves stranded amongst an Orwellian community who frequently spread misinformation to remain in political power. When they are discovered, the Doctor's image is used in the alien group's propaganda, bestowing him with a malevolent reputation that he must embrace in order to aid the crew's escape. Meanwhile, Neelix gives Janeway food poisoning.

Next episode: Broken Mirror

"Broken Mirror" - On Father's Day, Naomi and her mom visit an alien museum. She wishes on a rumored "magic mirror" to meet her father. Instead, she is split and sent into several dimensions. The crew must enter the dimensions to put the pieces of Naomi back together into one whole. The story is told in Samantha's letter to her husband about what happened.

Next episode: "The Reaper"

"In Plain Sight" - B'Elanna, Tom, Seven, and Harry are running for their lives in a dangerous alien game. They must remain out of hiding and avoid attempts to capture them in a 48 hour period, in order to secure a valuable cure for Janeway, who has come down with a deadly plague after exposure due to an alien carrier of the disease, which is no longer deadly to the alien race.

Next episode: "Pure of Heart"

Pure of Heart- Before an Rigelian crewman on Voyager dies he laments that because he is away from home there will be no one to perform his last rights. It falls upon Janeway to perform said last rights. In a brutal week of fasting and isolation she begins to ruminate on all of the deaths in her life receiving flashbacks and visions. At the end of her ordeal the crew and Janeway convene to celebrate the crewman.
