What happened to HopefulRomantic's avatar? I voted a few days ago.

Her other images are from Photobucket, so it's not a technical issue with the host.

I've seen this happen sometimes. I think it was Orac who had an animated GIF of Sulu and Uhura doing a rapid "back and forth", no nudity but some semi-sexual implications; it got pulled from Photobucket. HR's Sigourney Weaver avatar was sexy, but PG rated. I wonder if it suffered the same fate as Orac's avatar did.

Usually you'd expect if it was censorship, the replacement image would say something about it accordingly, like:

If you search the Internet, you'll easily find a number of complaints about Photobucket having seemingly random and inconsistent enforcement of censorship, especially when there's no nudity involved. There may also be some copyrighted image enforcement happening as well. Example 1.

^^ Actually, it was a case of pilot error. I was moving some stuff around in Photobucket, and I accidentally moved Sigourney. D'oh.

All better now.

Theme for the next contest... how about Vasquez Rocks? It's that oft-used rocky location where "Arena" was filmed, as well as "Shore Leave," "Alternative Factor," and "Friday's Child." I love that JJ Abrams used it in STXI as an homage.

I've started watching Alias recently, so for Random theme, let's do Secret Agents.
