Though I do like all of them.

Ditto. But I really wouldn't have missed Kim if he'd stayed dead in Deadlock. Now there's a major fucked-up episode. B'Elanna tells Janeway Kim's dead and she barely misses a beat. :wtf: Yeah, like you lose your pet ensign every day of the week. No crumpled face, no dewy eyes, no tears, sadness. Nothing. Nada. Zilch. The only concern she shows in whole episode is for Sam Wildman's newborn baby. Someone she doesn't even know yet. Gah. Sorry. Exasperated. :vulcan:

Just to be different I'll go for Lynsey Ballard. :p

But the best character (from the ones listed) and actor on the show was the EMH potrayed by Robert Picardo. He made the show watchable.

Tom Paris, the character with the single biggest arc of all of them -- the true "Voyager" of the series. This ex-con, ex-screw-up can drive and fix anything that moves, designs shuttles and holoprograms, moonlights as a medic, has principles he's actually willing to stick to at considerable personal cost, is able to (eventually) commit to a meaningful relationship, and will doubtless be a better dad than his own.

Oh, and except for that horrendous hairdo and weight gain in Season 4, he's also damn easy on the eyes. Where can I get me one of those ...???

Paris was always too oatmeal cookies for me but I do agree he got a story arc. He was a decent actor and his relationship with B'Elanna worked well, believable and quite sweet. At least someone got a real relationship in 7 years.

I voted for everyone but Seven, altho my #1 favorite is Capt. KJ, of course ;). (Was thinking of not voting for one or two others but decided did like most everyone else, lol.)

Seven was to much of a main charecter for me she was always a major charecter in almost every episode after her release from the collective. i think too that the fact that tom paris the pilot moonlighted as a medic although there were medical/science staff (green tops) around. i know green was medical and science but in several episodes there were greenys helping the doctor put patients on beds in sickbay. surely aswell a science officer would also know a bit more about medicine and the things it involves than a pilot chief conn officer none the less. also how come neelix is in a large command place crew members call him sir do as he says etc. in the s2finale he is in charge of rescue teams. the doctor was a good charecter to though liked the story where he gets his mobile emitter it's a good twist to the series and makes him an even better charector

Tuvok, Torres and Kes were my favourite characters on VOY. Unfortunately by the end two were ignored and one had been essentially killed off.

Tuvok is my favorite Vulcan. When I think of 'Vulcan' I don't think 'Spock' I think 'Tuvok' . . .
Tuvok is the best :D

I voted for 4

The Doctor
Seven
Kes

and, although on first run I always thought he was a useless joke, on my recent first time full rewatch, I really came to appreciate Neelix' character. He was far more brave and useful than I had ever imagined with my spotty first run watching.

Tuvok is my favorite Vulcan. When I think of 'Vulcan' I don't think 'Spock' I think 'Tuvok' . . .
Tuvok is the best :D
Spock was only half-Vulcan so doesn't really count.

Tim Russ' Tuvok was the best Vulcan character on Trek, he was detached and logical, but you knew that keeping the crew safe and returning to his family were what drove him. The friendship he had with Janeway was a solid rock at the beginning of the series which was washed away by the later years, never really taken advantage of once Seven got on the scene.

He wasn't a character conflicted by his emotions because he was in full control of them, didn't have a human side to dwell upon and whose 'Vulcan face' wasn't just a pout.

What? No Borg queen?
But seriously, my personal favorite was Seven, just for the complexity of her character alone. She practically had to abandon everything that she was taught as a child and learn to live anew.
