So in this episode where a male alian changes bodies with Tom I have a few questions.

#1 when the alien Tom attacked Janeway and switched again with her. What would Tom's body be like ? Who would have been in the body since the real Tom was in the male alien body.

#2 why did the female alien want to find the male alien when she was the one that switched with him in the first place?

I guess the reason for the female wanting to find the male alien was so they could do something to the solution Carter came up with to get Daniel back in his body in the STARGATE SG-1 episode "HOLIDAY".

Basically, play musical chairs with their bodies.

The female alien was not the entity's original body either. So we don't know its original gender. In any case, it doesn't seem to care all that much about gender.

As for how Tom's body would feel to Janeway, keep in mind that Janeway once turned into a giant lizard and made babies with Tom. So I doubt this experience would shock her all too much.
